I vampire ran back to the house, but when I got there, I saw something that shattered my heart. Klaus was kissing Hayley, I had seen it coming but I still couldn't believe it. Before they could notice I was there, I turned and ran out of the house. I don't know where I was going but I knew I couldn't be there right now.

I stopped in the middle of the woods, tears in my eyes. I looked at the sky and yelled" I never asked for this life you know, you say I'm supposed to be strong enough to handle the pain, well guess what! You were wrong, I'm not strong enough to handle the pain, the heartbreak, the loss, to have everything torn away from me at once. I'm losing hope here, tell me why you chose me, give me a sign...... please" I whispered the last word and the wind seemed to pick up, blowing my hair around me.

I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I was standing in the middle of New Orleans." Why show me this, I've seen it"

My father appeared and smiled" just watch and listen, Milisa " so I did. As I watched Klaus and Elijah were arguing but I noticed, I wasn't there." You will be given a choice, Milisa. You can follow Klaus and his siblings toward a path that will be long and dangerous, or you could go your own way, become the person you want but this path you will walk alone. Your sister will face challenges but you won't be a part of it for its not on either path."

I looked at him and he continued" when it comes time to choose, you will know, follow your heart and you'll be happy" then I opened my eyes to find myself back in the woods. I sighed" not making this easy for me, are you. I'll make the choice, just hope I make the right o-" I heard a twig snap and turned to see Silas.

" what do you want, can't you see I'm having conversation here" he rolled his eyes" no, it looks more like your talking to yourself, Milisa" I glared at him, I hated when people called me that, other then Elijah, of course.

" oh, does that make you made, when i use your full name, Milisa"

" leave me alone, I'm not in the mood" I snapped and the leaves at my feet started sparking." Watch that temper of yours, Milisa, or you'll set the forest on fire" I glared at him, before turning and Vampire running to the grill. Matt was at the bar serving drinks so I sat down on a stool and he smiled." Hey, Molly"

" hey Matt, can I get a bourbon" he nodded giving me the whole bottle when no one was looking. As I drank we talked, then his phone buzzed and he looked wide eyed at the message." What is it" I asked

" I'm not sure but I need to go to Tyler's house" I downed the last of the bottle then followed him out of the Grill. When we got to Tyler's house, there was a package in the mailbox marked' Matt'. We looked at each other and shrugged, he grabbed the package and opened it. Inside was a stack of papers, Matt opened the door reading them. I went to follow himinside but was stopped by an invisible barrier. Wide eyed I said" I can't get in, Matt what's in the package"

He looked up and frowned" the deed to the house"

" you have to invite me in Matt, its your's now" he nodded

" come in" he called out and I stepped inside, while he texted Caroline. I noticed an envelope marked Molly was sitting on the table next to the stairs. I picked it up and read.

I know you hate me for leaving you when you need me the most

but truth is, you don't. As long as Klaus hunts me down, I can't

come home, but know this Molly, I may like Caroline but you

The word we used all the time as kids, and I'll call you.

I know you hate cussing so I won't say it in normal person

language. Give them Heck, Molly. Especially Klaus.

Then he signed it 'Your best friend and lone wolf, Tyler Lockwood'. Tears fell down my cheeks and I sat on the stairs. Tyler hadn't just left a letter behind, he'd left his memory, so that I wouldn't forget, I wasn't alone and that he understood me.

Caroline appeared in the doorway but was stopped by the barrier." Matt" she called out and he walked out of the dinning room.

" come in" he called out and she stepped inside" what's going on" she asked looking at me.

" Tyler sent me this package in the mail" he held out a piece of paper to her" this is for you" she took it and read to herself. Then started crying" he's not coming back" Matt hugged her. Feeling awkward, I got up and was about to leave when Caroline stopped me.

" what did he tell you, Molly" she said looking at the letter in my hand. I smiled, " just that if I ever needed him, just to text him a word we always used as kids" she smiled

" the word was pretty weird" we all started laughing. What was the word you might ask? Well its something I came up with, something that had always been in my head but I never understood where it came from back then but now I knew it was magical and it was more of a sentence.
