Fireflies

"Don't laugh okay? I don't really know how to do this." I said as I tried to show her the chords I learned from her.

"Pleaseee, you're already a pro. You're better than me already." Jisoo said with a chuckle and I just shake my head at her antics.

"So this is A." I said as I strum the guitar and looked at her.

She just smiled and nod encouraging me to continue.

"C." We skipped the B chord because that just hurt my fingers. She said it's okay to just skip the chords with the flats first like B and F.

"D." I said as I struggle to do it correctly. My forefinger and ring finger just won't cooperate and it's kinda frustrating.

Jisoo guided my fingers as she chuckle and told me she used to have a hard time getting that right too.

We continued until I got everything right. She then gave simple chord progressions to practice.

"This is amazing, how many songs could I play with these chords again?" I asked amazed that with just G-Em-C and D you could play different songs already.

"I only know four but you could search it up, I bet there are much more." She said chuckling as she continue playing with her guitar.

"Hey lovebirds pack it up it's getting late." Jennie said bored as she sips on her iced coffee with Lisa just beside her.

I look around and the bunch of people enjoying the sun earlier are now gone and there's only a few having their late afternoon walk by the shore. Time really flies fast when you're having fun.

We stay seated on the blanket and watch the sun set before I broke the comfortable silence between us four.

"Hey let me treat you for dinner, that's the least I could do for consuming your time teaching me here when you could be partying instead." I told Jisoo as she help me put my guitar back to its bag.

Well I saw Taehyung pestering her to come to a party earlier which she obviously declined so she could teach me.

"It's not a big deal. I'm really not in the mood to party anyway." She said that made Lisa snort.

I saw Jisoo glare at Lisa that just made the latter roll her eyes.

"Spill." Jennie said amused at their interaction.

"Jisoo never says no to parties. I think this is the first time she declined." Lisa said chuckling then sip on her own drink.

"Well, there's a first time for everything." Jisoo said trying to sound nonchalant as she zip her own guitar's bag after helping me with mine.

"Sure dude." Lisa said in amusement that made Jisoo to roll her eyes at her friend again.

"Okay let's go grab dinner then." Jisoo finally said that made my clap my hands. I actually didn't notice how hungry I am until I said something about dinner.

Jisoo helped me carry the bag on my shoulder as we started to walk towards the pavement but stopped when Jennie stopped walking in front of us.

She then looked at Lisa and turned to us that made me frown. What is she thinking now?

"Uhm you two go. Lisa and I are still full with the drinks. Bye enjoy your date." Jennie said as she quickly pull Lisa with her before I could even protest.

Enjoy your date

The words ring to my ear that made my cheeks burn.

I was watching Jennie and Lisa's retreating figures as I think of ways on how to kill the cat eyed girl in my head when I heard a chuckle.

I looked at Jisoo and she just smiled at me that made my heart skip a beat. She's so beautiful what the actual fuck.

"Stop pouting. Let's go?" She said as she drag me by the hand with her.

I looked at our intertwined hands and I couldn't help but smile giddily. Her hands are so soft and I could feel a little callous, maybe because of her playing the guitar but overall this feels nice.

We stopped when we can no longer can feel the sand and looked at the line of restaurants and cafés in front of us.

"So where do you wanna eat?" She asked still holding my hand as she look around. I couldn't help but be in awe of the sight in front of me. Jisoo's hand in mine while the other is holding the strap of her guitar, the lamp posts are lighting her beautiful face as the wind blow her hair, she's breathtaking.

I felt my heart beat faster as I look at her and I thought maybe Jennie's right. Maybe I like Kim Jisoo.

Well you know, Jennie has been saying that I like Jisoo by just looking at how I look at the older girl. I thought that was absurd considering the fact that we just met and in a rather weird way. 

"Oh! I know a good place." Jisoo said that brought me back to earth.

"You love this place.. I mean you'll love this place." She continued as she guide me to walk away from the fancy establishments and to a kind of secluded area of the seaside boulevard.

I look around as the bright lights disappear. Okay Rosé calm damn, she will not get you hurt. Get your shit together. Sure it's dark but you're with Jisoo, you're safe. I told myself as I hold onto Jisoo's hand tighter that made her look at me.

As if realization hit her she wrapped my arms to hers and gave me a reassuring smile like she knew I'm afraid of the dark and that she's here with me.

We walk side by side until we reached a huge gate with a sign board at the side.

Katherine's.

I looked inside and saw plants and flowers and trees with fairy lights that made me look at Jisoo. She just smiled at me and I walked ahead of her to the garden.

I heard her chuckle as I skip and run  around while admiring the beautiful garden. I can faintly hear music as we  follow the path through the garden that made me walk faster.

"Come on." I said pulling Jisoo to wherever the sound is coming from.

I gasp when I saw a small stage where a band is playing. Fireflies are everywhere adding lights that the fairy lights brought. Tables are scattered in front of the stage, there's also a gazebo where I can see a couple is dancing. This place is a dream.

"Beautiful right? Their food is amazing too." Jisoo said with a wink and guide me towards an empty table.

Okay, this really feels like a date.
