It had been weeks and still, Rosa couldn't get Gina out of her mind. Every time she entered the room, Rosa's heart skipped a beat. She would lose herself in Gina's luminous blue eyes. She longed to be wrapped up in Gina's embrace, safe and warm in her arms. Rosa was falling madly, helplessly in love with her.

"Santiago, Diaz, my office," Captain Holt bellows from the doorway of his office.

Amy and Rosa promptly get up from their desks and make their way to Holt's office.

"What is it, sir?" Amy asks as she closes the door behind her.

"The evidence from the Belcher Street robbery was improperly marked. It has put a hold-up on the entire case. Which of you is responsible for this?" Holt says in a stern voice.

"I am sir," Rosa sighs.

"I see, Detective Diaz. I expect that you will fix your error as soon as possible."

Rosa nods and exits the office with Amy following behind her. She was kicking herself. Had she really let herself get so distracted over Gina that it affected her work? She huffed and headed toward the evidence room. When she arrived she began silently searching for the evidence that she needed.

"Rosa?" Amy says suddenly.

Rosa jumps. "Jesus, Amy. I didn't even know you were in here."

"Sorry," she says sheepishly, "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"I'm fine," Rosa shoots back quickly.

"Are you sure? You seemed a little off back in Holt's office, and it's not like you to make mistakes marking evidence."

"Amy, I said I'm fine," Rosa says more firmly.

"Rosa, you've been acting weird and distracted the past few weeks. What's going on?"

"Damnit," Rosa says in her head upon realizing she hadn't been hiding her lack of focus nearly as well as she thought.

Amy sighs. "Look, I didn't want to bring it up before, but now that it's interfering with work, I feel like I have to. I saw the way you were looking at Gina that night we went out for drinks, and I've noticed how strange you've been acting around her. Do you...do you like her?"

Rosa collapses into Amy's arms.

"God, I think I love her," she groans as tears begin to roll down her cheeks.

Amy tightly wraps her arms around Rosa.

"I...I think I'm in love with her. I have no idea what to do. I've never felt this way about anyone before. She's all I think about."

It felt so good to finally admit these feelings that had been weighing so heavily on her.

"Wow, Rosa...are you gonna tell her how you feel?"

"I can't, Amy. I know she doesn't feel the same, plus she's with someone. It'd be pointless."

"I understand."

Rosa releases herself from Amy's embrace and stands up straight, brushing the stray tears off her cheeks.

"Please don't tell anyone about this," she says, trying to make her voice sound firm.

"Your secret's safe with me," Amy smiles.
