They cling to you like pollens,
But they are the seeds,
Seeds of mental illness,
Seeds of no self reliance
They bloom into flowers,
If you let them grow,
But they are the weeds,
Namely called 'insecurities'
If they grow even further,
They cause anxiety,
You start to judge yourself,
There's no peace
You'd be lying if you say,
That you have none,
There's no way
Each one of us has some
But to kill them before they grow,
That my friend,
Is what we all need to learn
Embrace the awkward,
Learn to be yourself,
If someone judges you,
Don't give a damn
And if they threaten to overtake you,
Bury your insecurities,
Bury them down Hades,
A route to never visit again
Just like burying the dead,
Gives life to something new,
Your buried insecurity,
Will give birth to a new YOU
What made you weak in the past,
Will now be your strength,
But only after,
You accept every version of you
Only after,
You accept your flaws and welcome them,
Will you be able to
Bury your insecurities,
Let go of your insecurities,
And truly love yourself

Summary-
This poem is based on the fact that each one of us has some insecurities which we can't deny. We can just accept them and move on. It's because our flaws truly make us ourselves and a more beautiful version instead of our plastic version. The main moto behind writing this poem is, "Bury your insecurities to give birth to a new and a better you, to a more confident you."
