𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐲

Walking together,
Holding hands,
Fingers entwined,
Eyes holding galaxy

I loved him to death,
The cause of my euphoria,
The man of my dreams,
He was all I ever wanted

He loved me too,
We promised each-other,
That our love would last,
Longer than an eternity

Our entwined pinkies,
Were the evidence,
Of our undying and eternal,
Love for each-other

Our love was perfect,
It was too good to be true,
It was only us,
No me and you

Our ineffable emotions were unspoken,
His pinky was our love token,
Feelings not stream but an ocean,
Some promises are just meant to be broken

Summary-
This poem is based on "promises". I took inspiration for this poem from Jimin's angelic song titled "promise". But the idea of my poem is completely different from his song. The last stanza of this poem is my favourite. Happy reading!
