𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬- 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞

Once upon a time,
When all was perfect,
When all were perfect,
You and I fell in love

I'd spend 10,000 hours,
Talking to you,
Talking about you,
Just you

I told the stars about you,
For they were my only friends,
For they shone for me,
For they knew how lovesick I was

Even the stars envied you,
For you shone so bright,
You lit up my world,
And I set yours on fire

Your eyes held universes,
Constellations, galaxies and planets,
Your eyes became,
The only place I wanted to find myself in

We were so much in love,
It became a cage,
We talked about forever,
Yet we destroyed each other mercilessly

I don't believe in fairy tales,
I never did,
Not after we didn't get
Our happily ever after

Summary-
This poem just randomly came to my mind and I started typing randomly. Then, it turned out well enough to be a part of my poetry book. So, here it is. I think I'm being rather repetitive now. I'll try to write something new and better now. Do you have any poetry requests? I will try to write on them too. Anyways, this poem starts AND ends LIKE a fairy tale, but it ain't one-
