3. Let's see where this goes

Jen's POV
I have been staying at my mom's for 6 months now, I already left the coconuts at school and went to do some last things before I can start living in this new apartment I'm about to buy. Now it's lunchtime and I decided to eat in this place close to my new apartment.

As I finished having lunch I saw a familiar face...right, that's Alex Rodriguez, I met him back when I was dating Marc. I decided to go say hi, so I tap him on the shoulder, at first he didn't recognize me I think, we had a small chit chat and then decided to have dinner together tomorrow.

I'm kinda nervous of about meeting Alex tomorrow, when I saw him today he was really sweet and charming, well, let's see where this goes, if it actually goes somewhere, anyways I'm not sure if I'm fully ready to see other guys right now, but Alex seems to be a nice guy. I don't even know why I'm already thinking all these things if I just met him, maybe I do want something with a guy right now.

Alex's POV
Tomorrow I'll have dinner with Jennifer, she is so nice and beautiful, I'm a little nervous to see where this goes. When she tapped me on the shoulder earlier today, I didn't recognize her, she was with her curly hair because she's been filming Shades of Blue, I love her curly hair, I think she looks sexy with that hairstyle.

When I got home I told my daughters, Tashi and Ella, that I was going out tomorrow night so they'll have to stay at their mom's, but of course, they wanted to know more, so they started asking questions.

Ella: Are you going on a date with someone daddy?

My little daughter Ella asked me, I don't even know if this is a date, and I don't want them to get too excited because I'm going out with Jennifer.

Alex: I'm just going to have dinner with someone I have met a while ago.

Tashi: Okay, but who is it?

My other daughter, Tashi asked me

Ella: Please tell us, daddy, we want to know

Tashi: Yeah, we deserve to know with who is our dad going out on a date tomorrow

Alex: Okay, first, I don't even know if it's actually a date...and I'm having dinner with Jennifer Lopez...

As I said Jennifer's name, as I expected, both of my girls got super excited, well now I hope this goes well, they already think we are going to be dating a week from now, whatever, now I just have to wait for tomorrow night.

Let's just skip to the dinner night ;)

Jen's POV
I just arrived at the restaurant I'm meeting Alex, I'm wearing a white tight dress that goes down to my tights, it's sexy but classy at the same time, I have been waiting for less than ten minutes when Alex arrives, he also looks really good on his black suit. We ordered something to eat and talk the whole time.

Alex: So, tell me something about yourself

Jen: Well...I have 2 kids, Max and Emme, they are twins, you probably already know that literally, my whole life is out there on social media

We both laughed because it's true, everything is out there, is kinda annoying sometimes.

Alex: Well, is there anything that I probably don't know about you?

Jen: Mm... I just got out of a relationship

Alex: Oh, I'm sorry for that...may I ask why someone will break up with such a beautiful woman?

Jen: I was dating Beau Casper Smart and I broke up with him because he cheated on me

I'm not sure why I told him about this, but I felt like saying it for some reason.

Alex: He didn't deserve such an amazing woman like you. I'm sorry you went through that

Jen: Thank you, I'm okay now anyways. Okay now you tell me something about yourself

Alex: Well, I also have 2 kids, both girls Natasha, who's 12 years old, and Ella, who's 8 years old

Jen: Max and Emme are also 8 years old

Alex: Really? That's cool, they are all from the same age except Tashi, if they met each other someday probably they'll get along well

He's already thinking of how would it be if our kids met, I like that he's kinda looking forward to this, whatever this is.

When we finished having dinner we agreed on meeting again on Saturday at his house, that's 4 days from now, I enjoyed spending some time with him, we talked a lot and we both had a great time.

Alex's POV
I really enjoyed having dinner with Jennifer, she is really nice and funny, and she looked so sexy in that dress, I think I'm already starting to like her. We talked about everything, when I talked about our kids meeting each other someday I saw a small smile on her face, I can't wait to see where is this going, we'll see each other on Saturday, right now it feels like that's decades from now, I can't wait to see her beautiful face again, during dinner I noticed her checking me out, but I didn't say anything because I was doing the same thing. Now I just have to wait till Saturday.
