2. So what now?

Jen's POV
I'm on my way to my mom's house, and when I left the apartment, Beau looked hurt.

And no matter how much I tried to make this relationship work and forget that he cheated on me the first time, I can't; this relationship was hurting me, and I did what I had to do, I guess.

I arrived at my mom's place with all my bags and stuff at my place with Beau, and I even brought Max and Emme's things. I'm trying to carry the bags to the door, but they fell on the floor, and my mom went outside and saw me.

Lupe: Jennifer? Gosh, what are you doing? Why did you bring here all those things?

As she said that, I just looked at her in the eyes and started crying, I fell into her arms, she helped me carry everything inside, and then we sat down on the couch.

Lupe: Okay, so what happened?

Jen: He cheated on me. I can't be with him anymore

Lupe: Omg, I'm so sorry, baby

Jen: Can I stay here with the coconuts till we find a new home?

Lupe: Of course, stay as long as you need. Do you want me to pick up the kids from school so you can rest?

Thank god I have my mom; she's the best

Jen: Okay, thank you, ma, love you

Lupe's POV
I can't believe that bastard cheated on my baby twice; he doesn't deserve her. I went to pick up Max and Emme from school, and they started asking me tons of questions; I don't want to tell them what happened. I know Jen intends to say to them herself.

We finally arrived home, and Max and Emme, as soon as they saw their mama, knew something was wrong and that she had been crying. Those babies never miss a thing. Jen can't lie to them cause they always notice when something is wrong.

Jen's POV
The coconuts just arrived, and I know they know I was crying, and something happened. We sat down to talk to tell them what happened, so they stop asking me tons of questions.

Max: So what happened, ma?

My son Max asks me

Emme: Were you crying?

My daughter Emme, the most observant one, asks me

Jen: Well...

I paused before I said this, I don't know how they'll react, and I don't want them to be too worried about me.

Jen: Beau and I broke up

The coconuts said they liked him, but when I said this, they looked...relieved?

Max: Can I give you my honest opinion, ma?

Jen: Sure, baby

Okay...what the hell is this boy going to say

Max: Emme and I never liked him very much, we didn't felt confident with you dating him, we never said anything because you looked happy with him, and we only want you to be happy.

Wow, so they never liked him?

Emme: Why did you guys break up?

Jen: He cheated on me...twice

Max: I'm going to kill that asshole.

Jen: Max!! Don't say that word! Haha.

Max: Sorry, but it's true, he shouldn't have done that to you

I can't believe he said that, haha, gosh I love my babies so much.

Jen: So you said you didn't trust Beau a lot? Why?

I want to know what did they have seen about him that I didn't.

Emme: I don't know, we just felt something was wrong with him, but you both seemed to be in love, so we didn't want to bother you

Jen: It's okay, but next time you have to tell me the truth of how you feel about the person I date, OK?

Max and Emme: Okay ma

Well, now that the coconuts told me how they feel, I feel more confident about my breaking up with Beau. I think I did the right thing. Now, I have to find somewhere to live.
