Betty and Archie plot twist

Archie's Pov

I am in love with my best friend Betty.  She is the most amazing, kind, and most stunning person in this entire world.  I love her with all my heart.  The only issue is I have a girlfriend, who happens to be really close friends with Betty.  Veronica and Betty are super close of course not as close as she is with Kevin but still. I know that even if I broke up with Veronica there wasn't a chance in this world that Betty would say yes to me she's to sweet and too loyal of a friend to do that.  I finally reached the door of her house it was right next to mine so it didn't take long.  Her mom Alice opened the door and greeted me with a smile.  Betty's dad had left her when she was young I mean its his loss. It's always baffled me how he was able to leave such a beautiful life behind for some random women.  As I thought to myself Betty walked down the stairs.  She had the cutest sweatpants on they were one size to big. She had a navy blue tank top on.  I watched as she threw the sweat shirt over head and turned to me with a smile on her face. "Arch" She jumped into my arms giving me a hug the way she always did.  

Betty's pov

I said bye to my mom and grabbed my lunch. "Ready?" Archie nodded his head with a grin on his head.  "Bye mama love you" "Love you Babydoll" She yelled back. Archie and I had our regular conversations.  "So how are things with you and Veronica?" "Honestly she's super sweet and all but I feel like we'd be better off as friends." "Aww I'm sorry Arch I know you really liked her" "It's fine I actually have my eyes on someone else" "Already? That was fast."  "I know but I feel like Veronica probably feels the same way as me" "I don't know I just talk to her about Harry Styles and call it a night" Archie chuckled.  We arrived at the school building.  He held the door open for me and I thanked him. We walked into the lounge.  

Archie's pov

I walked up to Veronica and asked her if we could talk in private.  She nodded her head and we went to the Blue and Gold.  "What's wrong Archiekins you seem nervous?" "Umm Veronica I'm breaking up with you" "what? why?" "I just don't feel like this is working." "Whatever" She grabbed the water on the desk and threw it at me.  Atleast That's over. I walked into the lounge.  I then asked Betty if we could talk.  Its time I tell her how I feel.  We walked to another empty classroom.  "Is everything alright Archie?" "Yea well no I well" "Archie" "I love you I always have as more then a friend" "Arch I'm flattered but I have a boyfriend" "What who?!" "Sweet Pea you haven't noticed us kiss or hug or even cuddle right infront of everyone" Before I got a chance to respond Sweet Pea walked in. "ready for class Princess?" "Yes" He twirled her around and she let out a string of giggles as I just stood there in shock.
