Sweet Pea and Betty

Betty's pov

My boyfriend Sweet Pea is the kind of the serpents.  He's so aggressive with them and so kind with me I sometimes wonder how he doesn't burst.  I love him with all my heart but lately I feel like he hasn't been giving me anytime with him.  I am not trying to be greedy nor do I expect all his time I just want a little bit more time with him. He was even busy on Christmas.  Pea Just walked in I think I'm going to talk to him now.  

Sweet Pea's pov

I haven't been able to spend anytime with Betty lately.  Her happiness is my priority the day I saw her face when she found out we wouldn't be spending Christmas which Is her favorite holiday together broke me she looked so upset and all because of me.  When I got home I saw her sitting on the couch.  My biggest fear was her leaving me I hope today is not the day.  I sat down next to her and held her hand she didn't pull away which is a good sign.  

Betty's pov

We sat holding hands for a few minutes which I really missed.  Then I decided it was time to speak.  "pea" "Don't leave me" He quickly interjected.  "baby I would never leave you I just wanted to ask you if you would spend more time with me" "Princess of course I'm sorry Its just the serpents get super busy during the holidays because they have families and sometime they run low on cash and don't have enough for their kids, wives, husbands and I have to find jobs angel but I promise you are my number one and I will always be here for you" "Baby your the strongest person I know I just miss having you around I know how selfish it sounds" 

Sweet pea's pov 

I hated that Betty called her self selfish.  She is the most selfless person I know.  She gave up her college education so her mom could afford to send her sister to therapy. " Princess listen to me You never ever refer to yourself as selfish ever again got it." I said sternly but softly so she understood I didn't mean to intimidate her. "Pea I want you around no matter where we are" "Angel how about if you become the serpent queen you'll be by my side all day which is all I want and we can cuddle and make decisions all day long be my queen forever?" "Yes" She jumped into my arms and I embraced her and kissed her pink plump lips.  yeah were going to be just fine.
