Sweet Pea's pov

Betty the beautiful angel whom I sit behind in math class, and every class before and after that. The girl I so wish I could call mine. She's single, I'm single, I already see so many similarities just by that. I wanted her to be the person I woke up to every morning. But as the Serpent king I've had to restrain myself. As much as I love Betty, yes I love, I would never risk the Ghoulies seeing her. She's my soft spot even if she doesn't know it.

Betty's pov

I laid in my best friend Kevin's lap as I ranted to him about my boy problems then he ranted to me about his and it went on for a good 20 minutes. "Kevin I think I'm in love with the leader of a gang" I watched as his mouth dropped. He finally realized who I had been venting to him about. Sweet Pea. The serpent king.

Sweet Pea's pov

The bell rung and Betty and I had our next class together. Sadly Malachai was in this class so I wouldn't be able to talk to her or hear her beautiful giggle. Either way being in her presence made me happy. When I got to class the teacher had re-arranged the seats. She seated me right next to. Betty. She was already seated when I arrived and shot me her world class smile. "Hi Pea" She was so gosh darn adorable. "Oh I already have a nickname Angel?" The cutest blush rose to her face and she pulled her sleeves to cover her hands. I smiled at her.

Betty's pov

Something about Pea calling me Angel made my heart skip a beat. "So we have to choose a topic together." I said looking at the project our teachers assigned. "Well we have two options, we can do the one about dogs and pounds or we can do the breeded animals and the difference. It's completely up to you angel" I smiled again. "Can we do the pound I've been wanting another puppy for a while and now I'll finally have an excuse" He chuckled. "Whatever you want" The bell rung and before I could leave the class Pea grabbed my waist gently and spun me around so that I was facing him. "I'll pick you up at 7 from your house got it" I nodded and he smiled.

Sweet Pea's pov

It was time for me to pick up Betty. She's so adorable. As for the Malachai situation I told my serpents that Betty is someone that they must protect as their king I decide who we do and don't protect she's top of the list. Either way I wouldn't let him near her. I finally arrived outside I was five minutes early. I knew Betty got anxious when she felt rushed so I waited until 7 before going to her door. I run the doorbell and heard her puppies bark. I heard the door click and I saw Betty. He curls bouncier then ever, her lips so full, her gorgeous green eyes. She was wearing a long sleeved sweatshirt that was cropped and a pair of Riverdale High Grey Sweatpants. She was a sight for sore eyes. " You look amazing Angel." Another soft blush rose to her face. "You're too sweet Pea." I smiled at her. "Ready to go?" "One second" I watched as she bent down and called her dogs over. She placed gentle kisses on all there heads. (She has 3 dogs) "Alright listen my sweet babies when I get home there's a possibility I'll be bringing home another one of you so be on your best behavior." I smiled at her words and how seriously she spoke to them.

Betty's pov

I was finally ready to leave Pea came around to my side and opened the door for me. "Thank you" "Anytime Angel" I smiled at him and he returned it. He then walked to the otherside of the car and got in. "Alright so in your best interest I found a pound that has a lot of puppies since you told me you wanted one the only thing Is it's 30 minutes away and I know you get scared at night." "Pea that sounds great. Thank you" "You'll be ok by yourself?" "Hey I always have you" I said as I smiled his way.

Sweet Pea's pov

I couldn't handle it anymore her beauty inside and out was driving me crazy. "Betty I really like you. At this point it my feelings for you could be considered love." She looked at me with the biggest smiled and jumped into my lap. She smashed her lips into mine and I happily returned the gesture. "Be my angel my girlfriend?" "Yes yes of course pea" I attached my lips to hers once again wrapping my arms firmly around her waist and the other on her neck holding her close to my body. She returned the gesture by griping my hair and laying her head in my neck. She fit so perfectly. "Pea why didn't you ask me before?" She said lifting her head and rubbing her eyes gently. "Because my sweet angel You know how I'm the leader of a gang?" She nodded her head and kissed my cheek. " Well angel there's another gang called the Ghoulies. Their leader Is an awful guy who hates me. He hates me so much that he's willing to hurt the people I care about. But as of yesterday I made sure everyone of my serpents knew that if they see a Ghoulie even look in your direction that they'll them" "Will you ever let anyone hurt me?" "Not now not ever angel you'll always be sade with me" I kissed her head. She laid down. That was how I got the girl.
