Betty and Sweet Pea part 2

Betty's pov

I watched as bullets went flying around me.  I felt Strong arms grab me and pull me to the ground.  I looked up through my water eyes and saw Sweet Pea.  He gently but quickly lifted me and ran my body to the car.  I looked down at the blood covered seats and looked at my stomach.  Then everything went dark.

Sweet Pea's POV

 I ran to Betty as I watched her little lifeless body bleed on the road.  I wasn't fast enough.  I grabbed her body and ran her to the car.  I drove as quickly as I could to the hospital.  I ran her lifeless Body inside and watched as all the doctors and nurses ran her away on a stretcher.  I sat there with my blood covered hands thinking about how much I could have done to prevent this from happening. 

and hour passes 

Sweet Pea's pov

It had been around an hour since I saw the love of my life taken away on a stretcher.  Everyone was here now her mom, Kevin, Fangs, and the rest of her friends.  We all sat in silence.  Suddenly the doctor appeared from around the corner we all instantly rose to our feet.  "Are you all here for Elizabeth Cooper?" we all nodded our heads rapidly. The doctor told us that she was alright and that the removal of the bullet didn't even require surgery.  We all sprinted to her room as quickly as we could.

Betty's pov

I opened my eyes and saw everyone staring at me with big eyes.  I saw Sweet Pea and instantly reached for his hands.  He came over and wrapped me up a tight hug being cautious of the clearly bandaged area on my body.  I let him hold me tightly I knew he would keep me the safest.  I saw my mom and she also embraced me in a rather tight hug. After a few minutes I finally spoke "Where's the person with the gun now?" Kevin started speaking. "well after he shot you and Sweet Pea brought you here let's just say he took care of it." I nodded my head knowing that Pea was probably having him tortured somewhere in the whyrm.

It's night now

Sweet Pea's pov

I was to afraid to sleep.  What if something else happened to her? I saw as Betty's eyes slowly fluttered open.  Even In pain she's beautiful.  "What's the matter Love why aren't you sleeping? " She asked as she gently caressed my face. "I'm not sleepy" "Sleep Pea" "I wanna take care of you" "and you will and you are but you can't take care of me if you're sleepy." I hate that she's right.  I slowly pulled her closer and slept.  Not well but sleep is sleep.
