Archie's pov
Betty my girlfriend and I were walking through the hallways of our awful school. I held her close knowing there were a lot of people who would take her any chance they got. "Arch" She said looking up at me. " Mm yes Princess" "When is Riverdale going to be safe again?" "Well for you by stunning baby it will always be safe you know why?" she shook her head no. "Because baby I'll always be here to protect you no matter what" She kissed my chin that being the highest she could reach.
Betty's pov
Archie and I arrived to our math classroom. He led me to the back of the class and sat me on his lap. We always sat in the back because our teacher can't see very well so she wouldn't know that I was sitting on his lap. I leaned my head back on his chest and he placed light kisses in my hair. "I wanna go home" "Princess it's only first period" "But I have a headache"
Archie's pov
The minute Betty said she had a headache I grabbed her bag and her. I lifted her bridal style much to her confusion and carried her to our lockers. I held her with one arm as I packed up her things. "Archie baby what are you doing?" "You have a headache and I'm not taking any chances with you passing out or feeling ill or getting hurt I'm taking you home" "My love this is excessive" "My Love for you is not excessive"
