I am in love with Betty Cooper

Sweet Pea's pov

I know half the school is in love with her. She is so intelligent, mindful, compassionate, and respectful towards others. Then on top of her glowing and perfect personality, she is the most beautiful person to have walked planet earth. I hope she feels the same because I'm on my way to ask her out. She was wearing her little booty shorts and a white cropped tank top and her curly hair fell right by her shoulders. "Hey Betty" She turned and I saw the cutest smile rise to her face.

Betty's pov

Sweet Pea is talking to me he's so kind. "I was wondering if you maybe wanted to grab dinner with me tonight like on a date?" I thought my heart was going to explode. " I would love to Sweet Pea" I saw as he smiled. "I'll pick you up at 7" "Can't wait"

Sweet pea's pov

SHE SAID YES. I had the biggest smile on my face. I walked to my bike and was about to leave when I heard Betty call my name. Instantly stopped and ran towards her she seemed distressed. "Betty hey I'm right here." I saw her trying to grab at my tee-shirt so I grabbed her waist and the back of her hair gently.

Betty's pov

I had just grabbed my bag and was ready to head out before Reggie and Moose stopped me. "Hey Betty" Reggie said. I smiled and he returned one. (TW Rough content ahead) He grabbed my waist as Moose laughed and slammed me against the locker. "OW Reggie you're hurting me" "Does it look like I care?" "Now listen Betty go cancel your date with that serpent your going out with Reggie tonight" I Kicked Reggie straight in the gut and ran. I saw sweet pea about to get on his bike and I screamed his name as loud as I could. I saw as he instantly started to run towards me. I grasped his shirt and held on like he was going to vanish into thin air.

Sweet Pea's pov

All my attention was focused on Betty and calming her down. She was crying into my shirt as I gently rubbed her back making sure not to overstep. She kept grasping and I slowly lifted her and guided her to the my bike. I leaned on it so she was standing in-between my legs. "Betty Angel whenever you're ready I'm here." I saw as Betty wiped eyes and and slowly tilted her head back. "He tried to hurt me" I pulled her even closer. "Who hurt you angel?" As furious as I was I wasn't angry with my angel I was angry with whoever hurt her. "Reggie and Moose. They heard you ask me out and when I said yes after you left they told me to cancel and I said no and Moose shoved me against the lockers and I told him he was hurting me but he didn't listen"

Betty's pov

I really appreciated Pea being there for me. He's so sweet even in the state I'm in. "Betty Angel listen I'm gonna get some of my Serpents to take Moose and Reggie down to my bar alright?" I nodded my head. "What about our date?" "How about we stay in and cuddle" I nodded my head excitedly and he chuckled
