Before we say goodbay

★Chapter V★

The next day I got up as usual.  I got dressed and went on the bus to school.  I was very happy because I knew that I finally had someone to talk to, and it was Hugo.  In addition, we had our project to present today. 

Finally the bus pulled up at the station where Hugo was getting on. 
Immediately he sat down next to me asking >>Did you have a good sleep?  Ready for our project?<<

>>As always!<<I replied mocking enthusiasm. 

Hugo smiled and looked into my eyes saying >>If you screw up, I will kick your ass!<<

Then I poked him lightly saying, >>Don't be afraid, worry about yourself!<<

It didn't take long and we were already at school. 

The first two classes were biology and chemistry.  But somehow I survived it even though I hated these classes.  And secondly, I had the opportunity to watch Hugo all this time.

The moment has finally come, unfortunately it has come, which is the history class.  Honestly, I was very nervous but just before our project, Hugo came up to me whispering, >>Don't be afraid, we'll make it together!  Okey?<<  It calmed me down a bit.

During the project, everything went well ,like we planned. Each of us was well prepared and confident. After our presentation of the project, our teacher said loudly >>Very good!  Great design and preparation.  Take an example from these two!<< 

Then the teacher looked at me and said in a soft voice >>And I congratulate you on your first A grade<<

I silently sat on my seat while smiling at Hugo. 

Immediately after the lesson I went to Hugo in the corridor.  Hugging him, I shouted: "We did it!  We both got an A!  This is my first A!  And thank you so much!"

He looked at me saying in a joyful voice >>See? Did I tell you everything would be okay? Did I?!<<

At that moment, I was full of joy, I was as happy as I wasn't for a long time.
