Jonah's pov

Daniel and I decided to go out and have a chill day at the beach. Tan a bit, talk about things and just simply enjoy the company of one another.

After lunch we headed on our way. We are currently almost there. The beach is not that far away from the apartment complex, but it was a good half an hour walk. We were not in hurry of course. We actually both enjoy long walks, so it was all good.

"We have never been at the beach together. I just realized it." Daniel spoke up.

"Wow, you're right. But actually I'm not a big fan of going there with so many strangers around." I said. "I mean the one we're going to right now is totally fine. I was thinking about the popular, crowded parts where you can't even move." I added.

"Don't worry, I feel the same way. That's why I mentioned this one. I used to go there daily since...we broke up. I went there, sat down and I was just thinking. Sometimes even for hours straight." he said and it saddened me a bit. I squeezed his hand and we made eye contact.

"I'm sorry I put you through this all." I said and he stopped, making me stop as well. He took both of my hands and looked me in the eyes.

"You don't need to say sorry for things like that. Not everything is your fault. So please don't blame yourself for everything what happens or so. Okay?" he replied and caressed my face with his thumb. He was so sweet. I nodded and hugged him to my chest. "I love you." he whispered in my ear. It made me smile. We pulled away just enough to connect our lips.

"I love you too." I said when we separated and pecked his lips again.

"Let's go." he said smiling and I responded it, continuing on our way to the beach, which was actually right in front of us.

I took off my shoes before I stepped on the sand. I already felt so relaxed and chilled. Daniel followed me to the ocean and we stopped just so the wave touched my foot. The water was pretty good, so I decided to go and swim a little bit.

"Are you coming with me?" I asked him, taking off my shirt.

"I don't know." he replied, thinking about it.

"Come with me..please." I said, making puppy eyes on him. He smiled and rolled his eyes. I knew he gave in.

"Okay, if you really want me to join you." he said, taking off his shirt. As soon as he did it, I grabbed him around his body and dragged him into the water. I let him go then and splashed water into his face. "Hey!" he covered his face with his hands and I started to laugh.

"Did it get into your eyes?" I asked and he looked at me with just one eye opened.

"Yeah." he replied, trying to act seriously, but it just made me laugh even more. Then he gave up and started to laugh as well.

"Let's just swim." I said after I kind of stopped laughing.

"I agree." he responded and I don't even know why was it so funny for me, but I started to laugh again. Dani just looked at me, then actually splashed water into my face as revenge I guess.

After this little game of ours, we went swimming for real. We went deeper, so our heads were the only visible parts above the water surface.

"It's so nice here." I said enjoying both the water and sun, but of course mainly that I can be here with the love of my life. Daniel swam closer to me and wrapped his arms around my neck. We smiled at each other, then kissed for a long time.

"We're gonna drown here." I said after we separated.

"I would rather die with you..than live without you." he replied and it literally meant the world to me that he feels this way towards me. "I can't believe that I thought I could ever live without you." he added.

"Wow...I've never thought I could be this important to someone." I replied and he pressed his forehead to mine.

"You are, Jonah...for me you always were the most important person..and always will be." he said sweetly and it made me smile.

"You're my everything. I hope you know that." I said from the bottom of my heart. He tightened his hands around my neck and kissed me passionately.

After we pulled away, we swam slowly back to the coastline. We got out of the water and Daniel layed down on the sand. I searched for the sunshade we brought with us and put it above our heads.

After that I layed down next to Dani. I turned my head right to look at Daniel and he did the same, so we made eye contact at the same time. We laughed about it. I turned on my right, lifted my hand up to his face and caressed it. Then I leaned over and kissed him. He immediately kissed me back and pulled me closer with his hands around my neck. Then one of his hands found his way into my hair. I travelled my hand down on the naked skin on his chest. We then cuddled up under the sunshade like it was just only us at the whole beach. Well I could only see a couple of people here and there. But actually who cares about others if all that matters is the person I'm holding here in my arms.

"I missed this." I said and he looked up at me smiling.

"Yeah, me too." he replied and connected our lips. We just simply can't get enough of each other. But can you blame us? We were apart, not even seeing each other for a whole month.

~time skip~

We were still at the beach, talking about random stuff, when we noticed it's getting dark already. So we decided to pack it all up and walk back to the apartment. The other thing I noticed was that it was also getting kind of cloudy. But cloudy like it's gonna rain soon. Very soon.

"Do we have all of our belongings?" Daniel asked, looking around, worrying like usually.

"Yeah, we do. I already checked it twice." I replied. "Let's go before it starts to rain." I added and took his hand, interlacing our fingers.

"We are way faster than those clouds." he said cutely and I laughed.

"I'm not that sure about that." I replied as we were leaving the beach. "Oh I always forget to ask about my car." I added.

"I haven't touched it or anything. I don't have my drivers license, you know that." he responded and I nodded. "It's right there where you left it. And the keys are in my bedside table's drawer." he added.

"Thanks for not throwing it out into the trash." I said. I honestly thought he throw it away cause of what happened, but well he's not like that.

"Throw your car keys into the trash? That would be stupid I guess." he was totally right. Who does that?

"I know. It just came to my mind randomly." I said and looked up at the sky. It was getting darker, more cloudy and slightly windy as well.

"You should be a meteorologist, I swear." Daniel said out of nowhere. I looked at him and we both started to laugh. Suddenly it started to rain more and more, so we started to run down the street. But the truth is that we weren't even on the half of our way home.

We stopped running after we went out of breath. It was raining heavily and we were both completely soaked in rain already, so running was absolutely useless. Although we enjoyed it. We were both smiling widely and then this random idea came to my mind.

"Shall we dance?" I asked and reached out my hand. Daniel looked at my hand, then back at me.

"Yes." he replied, taking my hand. Then I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him close to me. He wrapped his arms around my neck and rested his forehead on mine. We started slow dancing under the lamppost on the sidewalk.

"I love you so much." I said.

"I love you more." he responded and we kissed, not caring about anyone and anything cause it was such a romantic moment.

The more crazy it sounds like, the more memorable and special it is for us and our relationship. So the connection between us can be stronger than ever before.
