"You liked the show, little guy?" Emma asked as she looked down at Anthony, who she was holding in her arms.
Anthony let out a smile and a small excited noise, and Emma smiled at him and said to herself
"You really are so cute."
Emma was walking over to her car, she could feel the night breeze brush up against her skin.
Emma opened the back door seat, and gently placed Anthony into his car seat.
She put on his seatbelt, and closed the car door once she was finished.
Emma turned around to see that someone was pointing a gun straight at her face.
Someone in a hoodie that was covering their face, was standing right in front of Emma.
Emma stood there, watching the gun linger in front of her face, until she heard a mans voice say
"How much do you have on you?" In a curious yet menacing tone.
"Dunno, have to check." Emma replied calmly, and the man chuckled.
"Well, get your wallet out."
Emma kept her eyes locked on the man, and reached into her left pocket, right when she was about to pull her hand out, she softly said
"Surprise."
Emma pulled out a pocket knife, and stabbed at the mans wrist, causing him to yell out in pain and drop the gun.
The man punched Emma in the stomach, and Emma let out a grunt of pain.
The man did a follow up attack and pushed Emma against her car, causing her to drop the knife in her hand.
Emma saw the man pick up the knife from the floor, and he lifted the knife up.
Emma dodged the attack, moving quickly to the side.
She could hear the car window shatter, and the sound of Anthony crying followed soon after.
Emma punched the man in the face, which caused his head to whip away from her due to the impact of her punch.
Emma followed up with a kick to the knee, sending the man to the floor.
Emma felt the man grab her by the ankle, and she too was forced onto the floor.
She let out a loud thud, and looked up to see the man make his way on top of her.
The man lifted the knife up, but Emma grabbed his wrist, causing a struggle.
"You little bitch... I was just going to take your money... but you made me do this. Say hi to your mother for me." The man stated, Emma's rage building up.
The man's wrist shook as he inched the knife closer to Emma's neck, and Emma used her free hand to punch the man in the nose.
The man let out a loud yelp of pain, as Emma had broken his nose.
The man fell off of Emma, and Emma quickly stood up, and saw the man was laying on the floor with his hand over his nose.
Emma looked at the ground next to her, and saw the mans gun laying on the floor.
Emma bent down to pick it up, and she turned back to face the man; and aimed it at him.
The man looked up and saw Emma standing a few feet away from him, the gun being aimed directly at him.
He let out a nervous chuckle, to which Emma stated
"Looks like we switched roles."
Emma fired the gun, sending a bullet into the mans chest, the mans upper body was sent onto the floor, his grip on the knife becoming loose.
Emma walked over and stood next to the mans body, it was quiet for a second, but Emma shot another bullet into the mans head.
Emma put the gun into her pocket, and retrieved her pocket knife from the mans hand.
She looked at the mans body for a second, but her attention was shifted to Anthony's crying from her car.
She approached the back seat door, and opened it and saw that Anthony had small amounts of glass on him.
Emma unbuckled his seat belt, and gently took him out his car seat, dusting the glass off of him and saying
"I hope you didn't get hurt."
Emma grabbed Anthony's car seat and shook it free of glass.
She walked over to the passenger seat door, and placed Anthony's car seat inside.
"Looks like you get to ride in the front." Emma said with a chuckle, placing Anthony into the car seat.
She put his seatbelt on, and closed the door, making her way to the drivers seat.
She started her car, and started to drive away from the scene.
She pulled out her phone, and dialed a number.
The number rang for a few seconds, but eventually someone picked up.
"Dad, you're never going to be believe what just happened."
