The police officer was watching over the police station, he sat in his chair and was reading a magazine, everything was going well, until he heard a rustling come from down the hall.
His attention was shifted from the magazine; he heard a strange noise, but when he heard the noise again, he got up slowly, and pulled the gun out of his gun holder. No one was supposed to be here.
He climbed down a few flights of steps until he reached the archive room. He looked over at the archive room door, and saw that it was open. What could someone possibly be doing?
John slowly approached the door, with his gun raised up, ready to shoot who ever came at him.
He peeked into the archive room, and started walking slowly, looking around cautiously as he went.
The only thing In the room that could be heard is the air conditioner and his light footsteps. He eventually made his way to the back of the archive room, and he noticed that one of the classified box's were missing, more specifically, a shoe box.
He quickly walked over to the area that was missing, and noticed that the tapes and the USB drive were gone.
He sighed in fear, thinking what the sheriff would do if he found out, but that wouldn't be a problem soon...
"Oh... no, not the Annie-"
Before he could finish his sentence, the light above him was hit with a large brick. And a loud shatter could be heard, and the room turned dark. Other than occasional flickers of lights that illuminated the room for a split-second.
He flinched and turned around quickly, startled by the sound. He looked around the room slightly panicked, but he couldn't see anyone. Until he heard footsteps running towards him.
He turned to the left and saw Luttons rush at him, knife in hand, ready to kill him.
He pulled up his gun as they were running towards him, and in a swift motion, smacked the gun over their head, sending them to the ground with a large thud.
Luttons was seemingly knocked out, and John let his guard down, he pulled out hand cuffs and was about to arrest Luttons, but they had to turn them around. He placed his hand on their shoulder, and Luttons eyes opened, and proceeded to give a very forceful kick to Johns knee, which knocked him off the ground, and he let out a yell of surprise.
John was on top of Luttons, and Luttons lifted the knife up and stabbed him in the back, and twisted the knife, blood squirted as they pulled out. And John cried out in pain as he was pushed off of Luttons.
Luttons got on top of John, and they were about to stab him, killing him for good, but John punched Luttons in the chest and threw them off as they got the wind knocked out of them.
John saw this opportunity to get out of the Building, he got up with the support of the racks, and started to limp as he ran out of the room and up the flight of stairs.
John was running down the hallway that led to the waiting room, he was almost down the hall until he felt a knife pierce through his lower knee, he fell over and groaned out in pain. Luttons had thrown the knife from down the hall.
He started crawling through the waiting room, and he was almost out the door, until he heard footsteps. Luttons went up to him and twisted the knife violently, sending small amounts of blood squirting out as the knife was pulled out.
Luttons stabbed at his lower back twice, which made him almost unable to move, his hand was on the handle of the see through glass exit.
Luttons turned John around, and John was breathing heavily with fear. And Luttons lifted the knife, and started to violently stab at his chest. Sending out screams that could be heard through the police station in the dead of night.
