October 4th, 2036, 7:10 AM
The breeze of the cool morning air was touching Anthony's skin, he was always aware of his surroundings, but everything seemed oddly beautiful. He could hear his feet stepping on the leaves as he walked to school, the small crunches that came from the ground, gave him a sense of peace and quiet. It seemed as if everything was fine and peaceful, but in the town of East Ville, peace is not a thing, at least not for long.
He approached the entrance of the school, and slowly walked up the steps that lead to the doors of the school. He pushed them open, and walked down the hall way, but as he was walking down the hall, he could hear chatter of many students. He couldn't make out what they were saying, but judging on the tone of their voice from the few words they heard, he could tell that they were panicked about something.
He went up to his locker and put in the combination, he reached into his backpack and put his journal in the locker. He put a few more things in there, and after he was done, he closed his locker and he saw Violet on the other side as he closed it.
"Oh! Vi... What are you doing?" Anthony asked surprised and confused, and Violet scoffed.
"Annie told me to get you. I don't know what she wants but..."
"Where is she?" Anthony asked, to which Violet informed
"I think she's by the garden area."
Anthony turned around, and they waved goodbye to each other as Anthony made his way there, and Violet went with Carly.
"So I heard-"
"Yeah, I know." Violet said interrupting Carly.
"The whole school already knows. I mean, of all people. Why him?" Violet said sadly and confused.
"I heard this town had some kind of dark past. I don't know what kind. My parents didn't tell me much." Carly said explaining.
And Violet stopped and thought to herself.
Dark past? I hadn't heard anything about a dark past in our town. But... what does it have to do with Jacks disappearance? Was there a killer at one point? Nah. I'm probably just going crazy.
"Wait." Violet said, stopping Carly. And she pointed to a room that neither of them had knew even existed.
"What kind of room is that?" Violet asked confused, and Carly noticed that there was a text above the 'classroom' door.
"Investigation committee." Carly said, and the two of them looked at each other curiously. They approached the door and there was a see through window, and they both looked through it.
There appeared to be a some sort of desk with a student there filling out what seemed to be paper work, they saw another table behind the student, and there were about 7 students discussing something. Violet reached for the door Handle.
She opened the door and the boy who was filling out the paper work looked up, he smiled and greeted the two.
"Hello, ladies! What can I get for ya?" He asked politely, and Violet smirked
"I never knew there was an investigation committee, what do you guys do?" She asked curiously. He grabbed a paper and handed it to Violet.
"Our investigation committee is a fairly new area on school grounds, if anything happens here that needs to be answered, we are the first people to get notified and we go out to collect evidence." She looked up to Logan and asked
"What is this a 7th period or something?" She asked, and Logan nodded. She chuckled and continued.
"I'll think about it."
