The sun in East Ville was shining down, giving the town a nice atmosphere and making the color of the fall leaves truly pop out.

Jack walked down the sidewalk, his green book bag on his back as he scrolled through social media.

'We're going to be at your papa's house for tonight, he's feeling quite sick. We'll video call you when we speak to him.' Jacks mother texted.

'I hope he's alright. I would love to go but I have school tomorrow, and I have a test for my English class that I can't miss!' Jack informed, hitting the send button.

The three dots appeared on the screen, his mother replying

'I understand. We're going over again this weekend, so you'll still have a chance to see him.'

Jack looked up and saw that someone was selling roses on the street, he gained a look of interest; walking over and examining the area.

There was a large piece of paper posted on the front of the table, reading: 'Bouquet of roses only 10$'

Jack reached into his pocket and took his wallet out; opening it and examining how much money was inside.

He saw he had a $20 bill, he took it out and examined which roses he wanted to buy.

His eyes fell on a bouquet of pink lily flowers, he gave the vendor the money; grabbing the flowers and taking his change back.

He managed to carefully fit them into his book bag, closing it and continuing his way to school.

The figure of a person could be seen peeking from around the corner, the handle of the knife sticking out from their pocket.

"Why do you look so tired?" Charlotte asked curiously, and Anthony simply looked at her.

"Had to rush out of the house I suppose?" She said chuckling, Anthony giggling in response.

"Hey, Anthony!" Annie exclaimed as she walked up to him, and he shifted his eyes to focus on her.

"Hey." And they gave each other a high five

"I was wondering if you would like to come with me to my math class, i have to ask my teacher something." Annie asked, and Anthony looked at Charlotte, who was giggling.

"It's fine." Charlotte said reassuring them, and the two of them nodded their heads and walked off.

The outer areas of the school were mostly quiet as people hung around the cafeteria area, however there was a couple who were having a discussion.

"When are you throwing another party?" Violet asked

"Like the rave i threw at the start of the year? A lot of your friends went right?" Henry asked for confirmation

"Well, who do you know?"

"I know Anthony went to rave with us and Charlotte went to help me set up."

"Well, when are you throwing another party or something like that?"

"Mmm... Halloween? My folks will be out because they want to visit my aunt and help her with her kids trick or treating."

"But isn't the-"

"The dance? Who really gives a fuck, my party's are much better." He stated, letting out a laugh; Violet chuckling uncomfortably as Henry gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You know, I'd love if we went out on a date together." Violet stated, looking up and connecting with Henry's eyes.

"Okay? I'm not obligated to take you out. Why don't you try getting a job?" Henry replied with a slight attitude.
