Flashback
The movie theater was filled with people chattering, ordering, talking about what films they were going to see, and Children were playing the arcade machines. But three middle schooners were at the register deciding what they wanted to get.
"I'll take a medium drink and a sour patch kids please." Violet asked kindly, and Anthony followed after her.
"I'll take..." there was a short pause, but he spoke again after a few seconds.
"A large popcorn and a medium drink please."
Both of their heads turned to Tony, and he looked unsure of what he wanted.
"Cmon Tony." Violet said under her breath, and Anthony looked over at her impatiently.
"Just give him a small popcorn and a large drink." Anthony said, turning to the cashier impatiently. The cashier tapped the screen in front of him a few times, and he looked back and said
"18.37 please."
Anthony reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet, he grabbed a 20 dollar bill and handed to the cashier, and got a dollar and a few cents back.
"You have to decide what you want, we can't stay here forever ya know." Anthony said, scolding Tony, and Tony sighed apologizing.
"I know, I just get side tracked so easily." Tony said explaining, and Anthony felt a tap on his shoulder. he turned around and saw Violet, she handed him his drink and popcorn.
"Tony, come get your stuff." Violet yelled, and Tony walked over to get his popcorn and drink.
"What film are we going to see again?" Tony asked
"It's a film called 'dread' it's about a series of killings, apparently it's based on a true story, but i didn't care much to research it." Anthony explained
"I love horror films." Violet said cheerfully, and the two of them chuckled.
"I thought we were going to see Star Wars?" Tony said confused, and both Violet and Anthony giggled.
Anthony pulled out the tickets and said
"That's why were sneaking in."
"We're not even 13 yet." Tony said nervously, and his friends chuckled.
"So? We can handle horror stuff, ya scared?" Anthony said teasingly, and Tony shrugged.
"N-no, of course not!" And the three of them walked into screen 24.
They sat down at their seats, J-3, J-4, and J-5.
"You take the middle Anthony." Violet said, and Anthony went to sit down, he set his stuff down and pulled out his phone to check the time.
"When will the film be over?" He asked.
"Around 7:30" Violet answered, and Anthony texted his mother.
They sat down, and started to watch the previews.
October 4th, 2036, 7:25 PM
Violet hung up her jacket that was on the rack next to her, taking a deep breath.
She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, and opened her phone to see that an unknown number had sent her a photo.
She opened the photo, and saw a picture of her walking on a sidewalk; it appeared that someone was hiding behind a car that was across the street from her.
Chills went down Violets spine; who could have been stalking her? Suddenly, the photo was accompanied by a text.
'Just making sure you're safe.'
