It was noon when I went to school.  Our class was only half day because there was a PTA meeting this morning.

There was an activity left for us, so even without the teacher on duty we were still very quiet in the room. There was no discussion because only a few of us attended school today.

I submitted my work as soon as I finished it. I hurried so that I can go home and rest already.

"Why do you keep on following me?" I was on my way home but I suddenly felt hungry so I thought of buying some street foods first while I'm waiting for Jie to come out.

"Ouch!" He held his chest dramatically, as if I hit him. "Magkaibigan naman tayo, 'di ba?"

"Are we?" I rolled my eyes and left him there. "Demi, she already rejected you, I can't help you anymore. I'm just her best friend, hindi ko naman siya pwedeng diktahan sa mga decisions niya sa buhay."

I knew he was just following me because of Isha. What I said is true, isn't it? I couldn't do anything about it though, I know, it really hurt him. I haven't seen a rejected man before, kahit sa mga movies lang. I'm not into romantic movies, so I don't have any idea on how much does rejection can affect someone.

I don't know what happened and why Isha reacted like that then, but I didn't bother to ask any more questions.

A few days have passed and Demi really did nothing but to follow me. Isn't that awkward? He was courting my friend before, then she rejected him. It seems that everything is just fine for him, while Isha is silent whenever he's around.

We immediately approached the siomai vendor to buy. It was a tiring day, pinagbuhat kami kanina ng sako ng lupa. It made us look like gardeners in this school, though. The other day, our project was to bring a plant, then we're obliged to water it every day.

I heard a voice behind me. I was busy counting so I just ignored him but I was shocked when he really did that.

"Thank you," I smiled at him.

The next day of the week, my friends ditched me.

At first there was nothing to do, I was just in the room and eating something to entertain myself, but not until the afternoon came up.

I may look like a lost puppy while looking for the other teachers, but honestly, I really don't know the other teachers here, about what grade and sections their advisory classes are. So, I'm really having a hard time right now.
