I wasn't bothered about what he said last night. It was just nothing. He just probably wanted me to stay away from David to the point that he made himself spill a lie infront of me. I wasn't even stunned because I knew to myself that after all, he's still the Demiel I know— he loves joking around. So, I just kept it as a secret. Why share something that's not even serious, right?

I met him when he tried to pursue Isha, we're just an elementary students that time. It was really funny to think when he told me that he really fell in love that time. What does an elementary knows about love? He even told me that I was just nothing but a bitter girl. Yes, bitter na kung bitter, but I was just telling him the facts I knew. Look at him now, he felt cringe everytime he remembers that.

We're just silently eating on a fast food chain. I wasn't able to buy a gift for Jie so I just brought him in the mall. Sinama niya pa si Demiel. Parang ngang sila ang totoong magkapatid dahil sa sobrang close nila sa isa't-isa.

I always tend to buy him a gift everytime he receives academic achievements from school. Lugi nga ako dahil lagi siyang hakot award. Mukhang siya pa ang magiging valedictorian sa batch nila this year.

"Miss ko na si ate Isha," Jie said.

"How about Ziny?" I gave him a teasing smile. I heard that he had a crush on Zyme— Ziny's younger sister. I'll bring him with me if ever we had a movie marathon there.

He rolled his eyes and acted like he was annoyed. Akala mo naman bagay niya.

"Pare!" he hit him on the arm using his fist. "Kanina ka pa tahimik. Silent mode ba?" he joked.

"Oo. Ikaw, dark mode?"

I just laughed at them. They really know how joke around to each other. Kapag may sinabi si Demi, may alam agad na isasagot si Jie. It was like they're brain was connected to each other, like their neurons have the same synapse. I laughed at my own stupid thoughts.

I just let my brother choose whatever he wants to have, basta 'yong kakasya sa budget ko. So, he ended up buying a Jordan shoes. Ilang araw na naman akong diet dahil sa napili niyang 'yon.

I was just busy studying inside my room while Demiel was sitting on my bed. I let him stay there because he'll sleep here. Hindi ko alam kung bakit gustong-gusto niyang nakikitulog sa amin. 'Di hamak na mas maganda and comfortable sa bahay nila.

I was busy editing our research paper when he stood up and lowered himself to see what's on my laptop screen. I could see him staring at me through his reflection on the screen. I was startled when I shifted my eyes on him. He was just staring at me deeply while there's a small smile plastered on his lips. Mukhang wala yata sa sarili at hindi niya napapansing nahuli ko na siyang nakatitig sa akin.

I was about to pull his hair when he said something. It wasn't clear and was almost a whisper so I didn't hear it. I raised an eyebrow, wanting him to repeat what he just said.

"You're so gorgeous. Ang sarap mo sigurong alagaan. Sayang lang kasi 'di ka pa sa 'kin."

Those words left me dumbfounded.

I didn't sleep all night because I really have to finished the research paper. Wala namang ibang maasahan sa mga group mates ko. Sana lang talaga may naka-group ako kahit isa lang kina Idy at Pia.

I looked back and there I saw Demiel, he's busy playing mobile legends. Mabuti na lang talaga at hindi na sila naka-on ang mic nila dahil baka masampal ko na siya sa sobrang ingay niya.

I just continue on what am I doing. Parang natahimik ang mundo so I assumed that he already fell asleep. Antukin naman talaga 'yon, kahit nga ang terror nilang teacher natutulugan niya, even when tita's preaching. Only Mobile legends could make him stay up all night.
