He fell HARD for Giyuu.

Face first into the concrete.

From the first time he saw him, Giyuu had already been a Hashira for a long time. At that time, not many hashiras liked him, if there were many to begin with.

There was only Gyomei, Kanae, Giyuu, and Sanemi as hashiras at that time. Oh well. Demons weren't getting mass produced like nowadays. Ah, the good old times. Rengoku thought.

Giyuu was always the lonely one. Not that everyone hated him, but he kept distancing himself to others, so it felt like everyone hated him. Even now, the people who actually only hate him are Sanemi and Iguro. Well Iguro only cares about mitsuri, and all the others are actually just neutral to him. Even Shinobu just says it to play with him.

Rengoku had attempted to connect to Tomoika, and I must say, the first time he heard his voice, his sweet, soft voice, it reminded him of his mother. The soft, silky black hair that Giyuu didn't know how to take care of and just tied it as a simple ponytail sometimes pissed Rengoku.  His amazingly innocent blue eyes, charmingly timid, would often get Kyojuro lost in them. His cold, aloof personality adding a extra layer of mystery to this man. His slender body, he is very thin though, sometimes Kyojuro wonders if he even eats enough. He hopes to cradle the person of his dreams one day, even if he knows the other is emotionally unavailable.

He remembers walking into his first Hashira meeting, while Ubuyashiki was introducing him, his eyes immediately got drawn to the man on the far side. The man stood at the really far side, almost like he didn't want any attention, but what he did immediately drew all the attention to him. Cute.

He remembers the first time he tried to talk to him, Sanemi dragged him away, saying something like "He's a overconfident bastard.." Rengoku let out a small chuckle.

He remembered the first time they went out for food together. That is when he saw Giyuu smile for the first time in forever. Not gonna lie, he never thought he would be jealous of a bowl of Salmon Daikon.

He remembered the first time the went on a mission together.

I wonder how he's doing right now. I hope he's doing okay.

I'll save you. Giyuu. It's been three months, three months.

"Hey Rengoku my pal! What are you flamboyantly thinking about?" Although it was obvious to everyone that he was thinking about Giyuu, Uzui still asked. He slapped Rengoku on the shoulder, snapping him out of his daydreaming. "We're flamboyantly discussing the fighting plan in the infinity castle. Flamboyantly pay attention please."

"Alright Rengoku you can go through this part of the infinity castle, it is where Giyuu is captured. We sent our crows to see the inner area of the lair. The Inner part of the infinity castle is very complex, and is controlled by uppermoon 4, Nakime. We should go for Nakime first, then we'll have the upper hand in the infinity castle collapsing, forcing them to fight." Master pointed to a map.

"The crows also said that they talked with Giyuu, didn't they?" Gyomei said.

"What? How is he?" Rengoku yelled.

"He's severely starved. He said they didn't provide him any food except humans, and there was no way in hell he would eat humans. Muzan has also self declared himself as his boyfriend..? I think Muzan has been beating him as well."

"Muzan is horrible.." Rengoku muttered. "I'll get revenge for you.."

"We will." Master said. "Not just for Giyuu. Also for everyone here that has joined due to tragic circumstances. The past warriors that dedicated their lives to slaying demons. The innocents who were killed by them. This fight is important. If we fail, the demon slayer corps is over. If we win, we can finally get rid of demons once and for all. It is risky, but,"

"We cannot become what we want to be if we stay what we are."
