3rd person pov:

Giyuu recognised that voice. The voice of the only person he knew. Of course except for Himself. They stared at each other, with Rengoku being visibly shocked.

Rengoku POV:

I didn't know what to say. Giyuu turned into a demon? What am I supposed to do..? What happened?

I was enraged. Tomioka Giyuu. The man I loved. The one I loved, was now a demon.

Why?

He couldn't have turned into a demon by his own free will..right?

He hates them..right?

No.

No.

My hand slowly gripped the handle of my katana.

He did not engage in an offensive stance.

He just stood there.

I can't let my own feelings get in my way.

If he is like the others, more lives will be lost.

Still.

The thought of having to kill the one I love broke my heart.

I charged in for an attack, but in that split second where my katana was going to touch his arm, my sword broke into five pieces.

I jumped back, expecting an attack to come at me.

But it never came.

Giyuu just stood there, staring at me.

"Rengoku..?" He muttered out. Ok, So he does remember me.

"Hello..Tomoika?" I attempted to talk to him, doubt and worry seeping until my voice.

"Hi..Rengoku."

I started talking to him, trying to get some information out of him, but it seems like he doesn't remember anything.

During our conversation, a certain butterfly came by.

"Ara~Ara~Rengoku-san. I see you've found tomoika-San. Why didn't you tell us? Wait..why is Tomoika-San a demon?"

"We don't know! Shinobu- should be bring him back to Ubuyashiki-sama, or..?"

I think Shinobu understood what I meant.

"I think we should tell master that we have found him, and that he has become a demon. Then, take him back to the butterfly estate. But, we should tell the other hashiras that we have found him, but we should keep him secret. You know. In case Shinazugawa-san or Iguro-San would want to kill him."

"Rengoku..who is she?" Giyuu spoke.

"Wait..Tomoika-san you don't remember me?"
Shinobu said in a sad tone of voice.

"I don't remember you..?"

"Who else do you remember except of Rengoku?" Shinobu spoke.

"Nobody.."

The reason Rengoku attacks a demonified Giyuu is because he never went on the mugen train, therefore never seeing Nezuko protect humans, and so still believing that demons should be killed in order to prevent more people from suffering.
