This is it, The final war.

Rengoku never expected this. He never did.  Actually, none of them expected this.

After they finished the planning, they walked out of the Ubuyashiki manor. Two seconds later the entire manor exploded. All the Hashiras saw. After the explosion, some large, pitch black spear traps trapped a man that looked very similar. It was not kagaya. Kagaya died in the explosion.

Rengoku was angry. He could almost feel the rage burning him. Well, it wasn't just angry. It was also sadness, guilt and shame. He was angry at the demons, sad about Kagaya's death, guilty and shame that as a pillar, he couldn't save him. It was like a wave of emotions washing over him. He always said that as a pillar, he would save everyone. But in the end, he couldn't save the ones that mattered a lot to him. Kagaya planted bombs in the manor. How could he have not noticed? All those traps. Giyuu had been turned into a demon and is currently enslaved, all of his tsukugo's were killed except Kanroji, and much more.

The rest of the pillars were shocked. Some started crying, some were angry, some just stood there, eyes wide.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki was a nice man. He help all the hashiras through their hard times, he listened to their stories, he encouraged them, and he gave them a place in the demon slayer corps to use their talent. Giyuu Tomoika was a nice man too. He saved countless lives. But they ended up like this? It wasn't fair at all, dammit.

They sent their crows to get all the demon slayers that could come. Rengoku saw a boy. A boy named Tanjiro, who became Giyuu's Tsukugo a while before he became a demon. Although he's never became a Hashira due to the fact that he's carrying his demon sister constantly, and everyone's questioning him.

Poor kid. His sister turned into a demon and how his mentor.

"Rengoku-san!" A not-smiling Tanjiro yelled.
His usual cheerful and energetic personality was gone, and he looked like a mess.

"Oh my boy Kamado! What happened to you?" At this point, Renogoku had met Tanjiro many times before. This wasn't the cheerful and bright teenager he knew.

Tanjiro ran up to him and almost crashed into his warm arms. "Rengoku-san!!! Where have you been? I've missed you!"

"Kamado, my boy. There's no time for chit-chatting. Muzan is right there!"

All the Hashiras decided on following the current plan. The all lunged forward to try and land a hit on him, as they saw a demon lady also rushing up and injecting something into Muzan.

Before they could do anything, Nakime blocked them all, allowing them to fall into the infinity castle.

This is it, the final war for the sake of humanity.
