Hurt

In the moonlight. I wish on the stars that you were here instead of being there. One day, I will feel your warm embrace and no more tears will fall down from my face.

"Sooooo, what happened next?" Y/N asks Jihyo in an eager voice who just had a date with Taehyung.

"Well, we made out, but nothing more than that" Jihyo casually said as Y/N giggled.

"So you still have the V card?" Y/N asked as Jihyo laughed.

"Yes, even though we have been together for quite some time now, I feel like I want to wait a little longer" Jihyo explained as Y/N nodded.

"You're only sixteen after all, you have all the time in the world" Y/N stated as Jihyo stared at her.

"Says the one who lost it last month" Jihyo states as Y/N giggles.

"I know, but I never said sixteen isn't an appropriate age to lose your virginity, at least it's an age where you know what to expect" Y/N states as Jihyo nods in agreement.

"I know, I always envisioned who would lose their virginity at what age" Jihyo says as Y/N chuckles.

"I always thought Jimin would lose it at an early age, but he surprised me" Jihyo states as Y/N nods.

"I know! With all the girls drooling over him, I would have guessed he lost it by now" Y/N says as Jihyo laughs.

"Exactly! Perhaps I should call Joy back to link them up, she seems desperate enough for physical attention" Jihyo says as Y/N hits her shoulder.

"Jihyo that's mean! Why are you still hanging onto her anyways? I thought she didn't interest you anymore" Y/N asks as Jihyo smirks.

Y/N remembers Joy. She was in their friend group during their first year, but Jihyo being Jihyo, grew tired of the girl. She removed her from the group chat and told her it was better that they weren't friends anymore.

Y/N always thought she was kind, she just seemed intimidated by Jihyo. It was like she admired her, she just didn't really know how to show it. But that is how Jihyo is, and Y/N just accepted the fact that she has a reputation for dropping friends left right and centre.

Joy wasn't the only girl that was in Jihyo's attention span for a short lived while. Most of the girls in school must have had the liberty of joining their lunch table for at least a week, most of them not surviving the piercing and harsh judgement from Jihyo.

But they wouldn't hesitate to come back whenever Jihyo was interested in them again. She was kind of like the Blair Waldorf, people wanted to be around her even though they despise her, no matter what she did to them.

Y/N was more of a Serena van der Woodsen. Doing her own thing, always being Jihyo's favourite and the only one who could have a fight with her and come out on top. She didn't care much for the short lived friendships of Jihyo as she knew they would come and go, not paying much attention to them.

"True, always following me around and being a shy and silent girl bored me, but the way she stares at guys amuses me" Jihyo says as she looks down at her lap for a moment, clearly thinking about something.

"What is it? Regretting the fact that you aren't her friend anymore?" Y/N asked her friend with a cheeky smile but Jihyo didn't laugh.

"When you lost your virginity..." Jihyo started as Y/N turns slightly serious, carefully listening to her friend.

"Did it hurt though?" Jihyo suddenly asks Y/N as Y/N's gaze softens, knowing Jihyo is probably very nervous about this.

"To be honest, yeah, it did, but it felt like it was over within a bare minute" Y/N stated as Jihyo frowned.

"That fast?" Jihyo asks as Y/N nods.

"It's not like how they present it in those fan fictions and drama's, in fact, it's somewhat of an anti climax" Y/N explains as Jihyo laughs.

"Which is probably a good thing, you don't have to suffer for too long" Y/N says as the girls both giggle.

"But the second time is much better already, I won't hurt anymore and if the guy does it right, you'll even feel some pleasure" Y/N says with a wink as Jihyo chuckles.

"But don't worry, I'm sure Taehyung will be gentle and sweet with you, he is a good guy after all" Y/N states as she stands up to get some food.

"I'm sure of it too" Jihyo said in agreement as she glanced at Y/N.

"Speaking of Taehyung, he has some interesting things to say about you" Jihyo states as Y/N frowns.

"Like what?" Y/N asks her friend as Jihyo looks down for a moment.

"I'm not sure if they are worth repeating, they weren't very nice" Jihyo said in guilt as Y/N stopped what she was doing for a moment, feeling a little weird.

"Just tell me, you know I would tell you too if my boyfriend would say mean things about you" Y/N stated as Jihyo sighed.

"Well, it came down to the fact that you were an attention seeker, doing everything to steal someone else's spotlight" Jihyo said as she looked down, not daring to look at Y/N right now.

"He said that all you do is stir drama, dragging everyone down with you in the process, just to have yourself thrive on their misery in the end" Jihyo said as she felt tears well up in her eyes whilst Y/N remained silent.

"He said he despises you..." Jihyo said as Y/N sighed, turning around to face her.

"I'm so sorry Y/N, this was the reason why I didn't sleep with him tonight, I was upset about what he said" Jihyo said in tears.

"I mean, you're my best friend, he can either accept you or leave, which is what I told him when I left" Jihyo says as Y/N walks up to her with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, it's not your fault he feels that way about me, just his loss I guess" Y/N calmly states, like she is barely bothered by it.

"He agreed with me though, he will be nice to you, just promise me you will do the same? Stay civil?" Jihyo asked her as Y/N sighed.

"Anything for my best friend right?" Y/N said as she hugged the sad girl.

But people tend to forget that the ones who don't shred tears may be hurting the most, tired of crying for others.
