Taehyung was wandering the halls, looking for Jihyo. She was supposed to meet him outside but she was late, causing him to get slightly worried. He passed several classrooms, corners but he couldn't find her.
That was, until he heard sobs coming from the girls bathroom, causing him to become rather curious. He walked up to the door and listened carefully, worried it might be Jihyo. But what he heard next surprised him the most.
"Look at you, crying right now, so weak" Taehyung heard a voice say to the girl who was sobbing, causing him to widen his eyes as he knew exactly who that voice belonged to.
Jihyo.
"You think just because you're shredding tears I'm going to pity you?" He heard Jihyo say.
"This is your own fault, your own doing, you should have never done this in the first place" Jihyo states as Taehyung feels slightly weird hearing his girlfriend utter those words.
"You always wanted to be the centre of attention right? Well, now you shall have it, I'll make sure of it" Jihyo said.
"I'll make you pay for doing this to me, believe me I will" Jihyo stated as Taehyung heard the sobs becoming even louder than before.
"What makes you think I'm afraid of you?" The sobbing girl stated, causing Taehyung to widen his eyes once again as he recognised that specific voice too as it belonged to Jihyo's best friend.
Y/N.
"Well you should be" Jihyo stated.
"You betrayed me, I thought you were my friend, that I could trust you" Jihyo stated, clearly getting frustrated.
"But it turns out I was wrong" Jihyo said as her voice got more intimidating.
"You just used me, you used me for your own personal gain" Jihyo stated as Y/N started sobbing again.
"Jihyo please, I'm telling you it's not true-" Y/N stated but Jihyo cut her off with a laugh.
"What, that you aren't an absolute slut?" Jihyo stated as Taehyung frowned.
"Someone saw you, someone saw what you tried to do" Jihyo stated.
"And I'll make you pay for it" Jihyo said as Taehyung heard footsteps approaching the door.
The door opened and an upset Y/N walked out, widening her eyes as she realised Taehyung was standing right there. They locked gazes for a moment as Y/N remembered the events that took place last week, looking down.
She quickly walked off, not sparing Taehyung another glance as Taehyung could only look on, feeling bad for the girl with the tear stained eyes. That's when he remembered it was Jihyo who caused them
"I see you listened to our little talk" Jihyo stated as she appeared in front of Taehyung.
"What was that for? Why did you feel the need to say those things to her?" Taehyung stated angrily, disappointed in his girlfriend, but Jihyo just chuckled.
"That's the thing isn't it Taehyung, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about" Jihyo stated as she tried to walk away, but Taehyung held her back.
"No stop! Explain yourself" Taehyung said as tears started to form in Jihyo's eyes.
"I did it because she betrayed me Taehyung!! She went behind my back and used me! You don't know what that is like!!" Jihyo shouts as Taehyung frowns.
"She is my best friend, I love her with my entire heart, but the things she did to me just now..." Jihyo said as she allowed to let the tears fall down her cheeks.
"I don't know if we will ever be the same again" Jihyo said as she walked up to Taehyung, hugging him tightly as she cried her eyes out.
"I feel so bad for doing it, but Y/N is going through a lot and she needed to hear those things, she needed to realise she isn't on the right path" Jihyo said through her tears.
"I want her to be well, to succeed at everything in life, but she isn't on the way to do this right now, I just want to be a good friend to her" Jihyo said as Taehyung's gaze softened, pulling her closer in his embrace.
Taehyung knows Y/N hasn't exactly been very cheerful lately, and there must be a reason for it, but for now, it is affecting Jihyo and he needs to be there for her. Taehyung feels like he needs to focus on her instead of what she just said.
