Control

Her voice still timid, and in it there is shame. She hides words behind her neck, there are stories in her curves. She has this urge to scream, for once she wants to be heard; In her heart it must be mayhem, but in her eyes self control.

[6th of June 2020]

Y/N decided to visit Jihyo after what happened during prom night. Even though she was upset about it, the rumour could have affected Jihyo as well, the two best friends pitted against each other.

She rang the doorbell and carefully waited for Jihyo to open the door, knowing she usually takes a while. Y/N didn't announce she was visiting, she knew that it was best if she didn't so Jihyo didn't have the time to prepare some sort of argument in her head.

"Y/N? What on earth are you doing here?" Jihyo said in surprise but Y/N wasn't here to explain herself, therefore, letting herself inside without waiting for Jihyo's consent.

"Y/N I really don't have time for this-" Jihyo stated but Y/N cut her off.

"Cut the bullshit" Y/N said as Jihyo widened her eyes.

"What?" Jihyo stammered, not used to Y/N being as cold as she is right now, somewhat intimidating.

"You seem pretty fine, concerning the fact that a rumour is going around about me going after you boyfriend" Y/N states as Jihyo sighs.

"I may look fine but I can assure you I'm not" Jihyo states as Y/N scoffs.

"No indeed you're not" Y/N states as Jihyo smiles.

"You're not because you're fucked up in your head" Y/N states as Jihyo widens her eyes.

"A manipulative bitch, ready to do anything to make sure she is the centre of attention" Y/N states as Jihyo is now fuming.

"Where are you exactly going with this? You're hurting my feelings Y/N" She says as she is clearly getting upset.

"You spread the rumour" Y/N states as Jihyo scoffs.

"Why would I do that?" Jihyo asks her as Y/N rolls her eyes.

"Because you told me you would" Y/N states as Jihyo widens her eyes, remembering the fight they had in the girls bathrooms a few weeks back.

"You knew deep down I would never do something like that, yet, you are so jealous and controlling that you just had to do it didn't you?" Y/N asks Jihyo who scoffs.

"Well, I warned you didn't I? I warned you that I would make you pay for this" Jihyo states as Y/N scoffs.

"Besides, you know how much dirt I have on you, you know I could ruin you with just one click on Instagram" Jihyo added.

"You just had to wait for the moment that I could potentially be at my happiest, just to destroy it" Y/N says as Jihyo rolls her eyes.

"It was for your own good Y/N, you need to learn that Taehyung is never going to love you like he loves me" Jihyo states as Y/N laughs.

"You're that insecure? Do you really think I plan to play some sort of game with you concerning Taehyung? I was done playing that game a long time ago Jihyo" Y/N states as Jihyo looks down.

"I don't want him, he is yours, he loves you!" Y/N shouts as tears roll down Jihyo's cheeks.

"I'm not so sure he feels the same Y/N..." Jihyo says as Y/N frowns.

"I see the way he looks at you, I saw what happened at the party after I woke up, I'm not so sure he still loves me the way I love him" Jihyo says as Y/N softens her gaze.

"You're pathetic to worry like that because you have nothing to worry about" Y/N states as Jihyo chuckles.

"But doing crazy things like this won't solve your problems, it will only make them worse Jihyo, and in the mean time, you're hurting me" Y/N states as Jihyo breaks down in tears.

Y/N sighs and walks over to her, pulling her in for a hug. Jihyo allowed her tears to fall and held Y/N tightly, feeling guilty because of her desperate actions, like she completely lost control over herself.

"I'm so sorry Y/N" Jihyo says between her tears.

"I don't want to lose you, you're my best friend" Jihyo states as Y/N chuckles.

"I know, but you need to be careful, before this comes to haunt you" Y/N states as Jihyo nods.

But deep down, Y/N knew that she finally took control over the situation, allowing herself to forgive Jihyo in order to ensure that she would keep her close, that she would continue to share her secrets with Y/N.

Y/N was finally taking control over the game Jihyo forced her to play.
