Y/N POV
The smell of alcohol and sweat enters my nostrils as I squint my eyes, this weird feeling creeping up within me as I try to convince myself once again that this was indeed a good idea, although I can't find many arguments to argue with the fact that it wasn't.
The loud music, people laughing and shouting in order to be heard or noticed. Girls twisting their hair in between their fingers, hoping that somehow the guy in front of them would be interested by their innocent yet deceiving act.
A party, filled with friends and people that are desperate to make conversation with me, entertain me or sending me hopeful eyes, hoping that I would notice them in more ways than just the innocent one.
Yet I haven't felt this alone in weeks.
"Y/N you're here!" Hoseok shouts as he makes his way through the crowd of smelly people, causing me to sigh.
"Yeah, I promised didn't I?" I said as he finally reached me with a bright smile.
"I knew I could rely on you to come to my party" He said as he pulled me in for a hug, causing me to chuckle.
"Well, Irene stated that they are legendary, I couldn't pass on that could I?" I said as he laughed.
"Still, I know you have been feeling down lately, meaning you don't owe me anything" He said as he looked me into my eyes.
"Yeah, well, perhaps this will brighten my mood" I said as he smiled.
"I'm sure it will" He said as he patted my head.
"Irene is over there with Joy and Yeri! I'll get you something to drink" He said as he skipped away, causing me to chuckle.
I scanned the crowd and spotted my friends at the bar, talking away. I sighed and started to make my way through the crowd of people, being pushed towards all kinds of directions before I finally reached my friends, something they immediately noticed.
"Y/N! Thank the lords you made it!" Irene shouted as I rolled my eyes.
"Well, you forced me to come, what did you expect?" I asked her as she scoffed.
"I expected you to stay at home and sulk like you have done during the last few weeks" She stated as I sighed, taking a seat.
"Yeah, how are you Y/N?" Joy asked me as I looked down.
How am I? How on earth am I supposed to answer that question? Yeah, I'm absolutely miserable but here I am? Yeah I'm a total mess who has been eating away all of her problems without actually confronting them?
