Y/N is standing in front of the only place she knew she could possible go, her best friends home. Her parents are fighting yet again and she had to escape the screaming for a moment, just a short moment.
She knocked on the door and waited patiently for her friend to open the door, staring at her feet as he tear stained cheeks slowly dried due to the windy weather that was washing over their home town.
Soon enough, the door opened and revealed Jihyo standing there, but she seemed a little gloomy herself, like she was upset and had been crying. Y/N frowns and walks up to her, analysing her face.
"What are you doing here Y/N? It's late" Jihyo asks her as Y/N sighs.
"I just needed to see you, can I please come in?" She asks as Jihyo opens the door for her.
They take their seats on the couch as Y/N stares at her feet, trying to find the words to say. She knows her parents aren't on good terms, that the fighting is getting worse and that they might get divorced, her worst fear.
"Jihyo I-" Y/N spoke but stopped as she spotted Jihyo texting away on her phone, tears streaming down her face.
"What happened?" She asks her as Jihyo tosses away her phone.
"It's Taehyung, he is seriously so inconsiderate from time to time" She says as she lunges herself into Y/N's arms, crying her eyes out as Y/N sighs.
"He is mad at me now, and I don't know what to do" Jihyo explained as Y/N gave her a soft smile.
"You'll work it out, you two always do remember?" Y/N says as Jihyo nods.
"I know, I just got really upset about it" She says as she continues crying.
They stay like that for a while, just talking about little things and whatever is going on in school. Y/N still wanted to talk about her own demons that haunt her, but she decided not to, it wouldn't be the place nor the time.
"To be honest, you're the best friend I'll ever have Y/N" Jihyo states as Y/N sighs.
"I know" She states as she stares into the distance.
If only Y/N could receive that same kind of comfort.
