Ch Ten

Grace woke in the room of requirement with Draco. The two of them hadn't gone back to the common room since the night before.

Grace groaned as Draco rolled over and smirked. "So we stayed here all night?" He said as he kissed her.

Grace nodded. "Yes. And I can think of someone who won't be happy," she told him.

Draco sighed. "Maia will understand. She knows you can't stand in the way of true love," he told her as he kissed her.

Grace smiled. "Maybe I could talk to her."

"Maybe I should. She's my sister. And I know you two are best friends. But it would be best coming from me."

The two of them went back to the common room. Maia was there. She smiled. "You two didn't come back last night. Get up to anything?" She asked.

Grace and Draco frowned. Maia rolled her eyes. "You think I'm silly? I know you two were hooking up. I'm not mad. I just... I wanted to know why you both kept it from me."

Draco looked at her. "Because you told me and her that we couldn't be together. And that hurt."

Maia sighed. "Because I know that the both of you could get hurt. Father is literally out to get right now. And he will get anyone who stands in his way. I'm scared that he'll hurt you or Grace."

Grace looked between the Malfoy siblings. She smiled. "It'll be okay. I know it will."

"I hope so."

Draco was off with Crabbe and Goyle. Grace sat with Maia. She looked at her. "How did you know me and Draco were together?" She asked.

Maia laughed and smiled. "Simple. He wasn't here and you weren't. I put two and two together and came up with the fact you were together. That and Severus told me he saw you both in the room of requirement."

Grace frowned. "Did he see us?"

"I don't think so. But I don't want to ask him. And I think you'd know if he did. Cause I can guarantee that you'll have been given six years detention and lost Slytherin all their house points."

Grace laughed and nodded. She sighed as she took out the homework she had to do. She groaned. "Don't suppose you know how we can get rid of this without doing it?"

"Nope."

Grace groaned again. She looked up as Draco walked in. He looked panicked. "Mother has been hurt. Voldemort hurt her."

Grace paled as she looked at her boyfriend. "How come?"

Draco looked at Maia and then at Grace. "Because Maia isn't pregnant with Severus' baby. It's not looking good for her Mai."

Grace held Draco as he sobbed into her. She felt her heart breaking for him. She knew that she couldn't bare to see him struggling so much.

"She'll be okay. I promise you."

Draco looked at her and wiped away the tears. "Don't ever leave me. Please. I can't lose you too."

"I'm not going anywhere Draco. I promise you. No one is going to take me away from you."

Draco kissed her and held her close. But in that moment, they had no idea that their entire relationship was about to be blown apart. And it all started with a secret.
