Ch Seven

Grace and Draco had been trying to keep their relationship a secret from everyone. Both of them knew how risky it was.

Grace walked down into the common room and saw the Malfoy siblings. Grace smiled. "Morning."

"Hey. I should go. I'm hungry," Draco said as he walked off. He winked at Grace.

Maia frowned. "He's been avoiding me ever since I told him that he can't put you in any danger."

Grace nodded. "I know. But you're right. It's not fair of me to risk my life for someone who has probably been betrothed to someone else.
I have to make sure that I keep alive during this," she said.

"Good. You know I'll help you anyway that I can. My mother cast a protective charm on me when I was younger. So no one could hurt me. It would rebound back onto them," Maia said. She smiled. "I can find that spell and help you!"

Draco pulled Grace into an alcove. He had her pushed against the wall. "I've been thinking about you. And then I had to have a cold shower."

Grace smirked and pulled him close. Their lips met in a heated and passionate kiss. They both stood there making out until they heard someone clear their throat.

Both of them pulled away to see Maia and Snape standing there. Maia didn't look impressed. "I told you. I told you to leave her alone! You're putting her life at risk! You selfish idiot!" She yelled.

"Mai."

Maia looked at Grace. "I offered to help you! You use the same spell my mother used on me! To protect you! And yet you're running around with him! How the hell do you expect me to keep you both safe? You have no idea what I'm doing to keep you both alive!"

Grace frowned. She walked off with Maia. "What do you mean? What you're doing to keep me and Draco alive?" She asked.

Maia sighed. "I'm sleeping with Severus. I have no choice. If I want to save you and Draco, it's what I have to do," she mumbled.

Grace looked at her and sighed. "You should have told me."

"No. I couldn't. You don't understand. I have to seduce Severus Snape. But... to save you and my brother, I have to do this," she said. She couldn't tell Grace the truth.

Grace got a note from Draco to meet him. He wanted to see her. She walked into the room of requirement and saw him. "I figured.... maybe we could do this in secret. We could meet here," he said.

Grace looked at him in shock. She sighed. "What if Maia finds out?"

"She won't. She has other things on her mind. She can't know we're together all of the time."

Grace smiled and nodded. She walked over to him and straddled him. Their lips met in a heated and passionate kiss.

Draco flipped them and got between her legs. They resumed their passionate kiss resumed. But with the odds stacked against them as a couple, could they make things work?

Especially with secrets about to be revealed that would change everything. And not for the better.
