Later that morning, Abbey woke up from a dreamless sleep, thank God, to see Jesse still sound asleep. She quietly slipped out of bed and into the bathroom to take a shower.
After she was finished, she reentered the bedroom to see Jesse in a different position, rolled onto his side, still sound asleep.
She quietly dressed, and slipped out of the bedroom. She walked down the hall and into the kitchen.
She entered the kitchen and popped a coffee pod into the keurig placing her coffee cup under the machine. After it was finished, she pulled the cup out and went to grab her sweetener only to be met with the sickening smell of her coffee. She swallowed thickly and poured out her fresh cup of coffee down the drain, and placed her coffee cup in the dishwasher. She grabbed a clean coffee cup and opened up the pod drawer that sat underneath the machine, and opted for one of Jesse's green teas instead. She let the the keurig make her a cup of hot green tea added some honey to it and leaned against the kitchen counter sipping it slowly.

Back in the bedroom, Jesse was waking up. He turned over and noticed Abbey wasn't it bed but quickly heard her making her way around the kitchen. So he decided to get up and go take a shower as well.
In the shower, Jesse started to feel a pain he hadn't felt before in his abdomen. He ignored it at first but then the pain intensified and wrapped around to his back. He held his arm out and leaned onto the wall for support. He turned off the water and slowly walked out of the walk in shower grabbing his towel. He did his best to dry off then wrapping the towel around his waist. He managed to make it back into the bedroom where he grabbed a pair of boxers and pants. He sat on the bed and slowly put them on, the pain now moving up his chest. He needed one of those patches Abbey had been placing on his chest to help with the chest pain and tightness. He fumbled around and found the package on the bedside table. He placed the small patch over his chest, near his heart, hoping it would take effect soon.
Jesse got up and made it to the closet where he pulled a button up shirt off a hanger and managed to put it on. As he was struggling to button up his shirt, the pain in his chest was worsening and worsening, now affecting his breathing.
Even after all the events of the last 6 weeks, this was the worst chest pain Jesse had ever experienced and he was now struggling to breathe. His breathing was becoming more and more shallow as each second ticked by.
"Abbey"
He tried calling for her but it barely came out more than a whisper.
He tried to walk across the room, but had to lean on objects along the way to support himself on. As he made it to the bed, he placed his hands on the bed using the bed to support his walk around the bed back to the bedside table, trying to make it to the oxygen machine. He finally grabbed the tubing but instead of being able to put on the nasal cannula, Jesse collapsed by the bed, pulling the oxygen concentrator down to the ground beside him. Jesse lay on his back struggling to breathe, one hand grasping at his chest, as the pain in his chest just kept intensifying.

Abbey took the last swallow of her green tea, when she thought she heard a thud down the hall.
"Jesse?"
She suddenly heard another thud.
She placed her coffee cup down on the kitchen counter and took off down the hallway.
"Jesse?"
Still no answer.
As she got closer to their bedroom, she could hear the ragged breaths.
She rushed faster into the bedroom and there he was collapsed onto the floor, laying on his back grabbing at his chest, wheezing and struggling to get any air out.
"Oh my God Jesse"
Abbey quickly ran to his side.
"Jesse!"
