The bar was littered with streamers, balloons, and the works. Purple and yellow seemed to be the ongoing theme seeing as this party was to celebrate the twenty-first birthday of Denki and Hitoshi. Katsuki started walking to the bar, but was quickly pulled away by Eijirou Kirishima. Katsuki watched as Izuku chuckled then threw an arm around Mina and Ochako, who each stood on either side of him, and then guided them over to greet everyone else while Eijirou dragged Katsuki to the back where the rest of the alcohol was stored.
"Kats, I fucking love you. You're my best bro. You know that right?" Eijirou asked.
Katsuki scoffed. He crossed his arms over his chest, rolling his eyes to feign annoyance. "Unfortunately."
"Great. I need your help."
"Help? With what? I'd like a drink because I was in the hospital a week ago, and I realized that I don't relax enough. I also just about punched Copycat in the face five minutes ago. I really want to relax. So if you could-"
"Katsuki, you've been spending way to much time with Midoriya. Stop rambling." Eijirou cut him off.
Katsuki blinked once, but shut his mouth.
"I want to propose to Denki and Hitoshi."
"What?" Katsuki spat out. He watched his best friend nod enthusiastically. "Haven't you guys only been with Dead Eyes for, like, three months?"
"Yeah, but I know they're the right ones. I can feel it. I know you don't believe in the whole Fated Mates thing, but I do. And I believe that they're mine. Before Hitoshi, something always felt like it was missing when I was with Denki. And he said he felt the same way. So we asked Hitoshi to join us. Since then, things have been wonderful between us. I love them both more than I've ever loved anybody in the world, and that love is equal. Their scents give my stomach butterflies, their smiles make me smile, and I love listening to them talk. Even if Denki is upset because he's close to his heat, and I didn't buy the right candy bar, but the store didn't have the one he liked. Even when it's Hitoshi's short, max of two words per conversation. I love them, and what better way of showing them than proposing?"
Katsuki listened closely to Eijirou's rant. He took a deep breath, slowly thinking about different possibilities. "But what if they're not? Say Fated Mates are real. What if they're not the ones?" Katsuki asked him. It was something he'd been thinking about a lot over the last month or so. Many different people had told him that he and Izuku were Fated, but he didn't want to believe it. Because what if they weren't?
"What's it matter if we love each other?"
Those eight words sent off a loud signal in Katsuki's mind. Katsuki was quickly lost to his thoughts. Eijirou guided him over to a chair then forced him to sit down. "Wha... What do you mean?" Katsuki whispered.
"If we love each other, who cares if we're Fated or not. Billions of other people don't find their mate because of how large the world is." Eijirou explained to the omega. "And you're right. Fated Mates might not even be real despite evidence against it. If we are, great. If not, whatever. So what? I love them and they love me. What else matters?"
Katsuki shook his head. He forced his thoughts down. "Yeah, I'll help you with your proposal. But you're plan is shit."

They didn't wait long before starting with cake and ice cream then moving on to presents. There was a cake for each of them baked by Satou. Katsuki had done what he could to prep for Eijirou's moment. He had to be the one to do it because it would be weird if Eijirou disappeared to do so when he's not only the host of the party, but celebrating with his two boyfriends.
