Katsuki walked up to the bar with a blank face. He knew what was hiding behind those doors. He knew what was waiting for him on the otherside. He just fucking knew what Eijirou Kirishima had planned for him.
He wasn't stupid. The message from Eijirou this morning was extremely suspicious. The idiot said the party wasn't happening, but Katsuki knew better than anyone that it was. The red haired alpha had made it his life's mission to make sure Katsuki was surrounded by friends, and a birthday party was no exception.
So Katsuki expected to see all of his old classmates. He expected the streamers and balloons. He expected a pile of gifts, a large cake, and a shit ton of alcohol to be on stand-by.
What he didn't expect was for his expectations to be wrong. Inside the bar was just Eijirou, sitting amongst normal bar patrons. Katsuki was a little taken aback by the lack of a full-blown party.
"What the hell?" Katsuki growled as he walked towards where Eijirou was talking on the phone.
"Hey! No pets allowed." The bartender told him. Katsuki paused in his steps.
"I have a goddamn support dog." Katsuki hissed.
"Liscense?" The bartender pressed. Katsuki grit his teeth together. He was sure that he'd be getting chewed out by his dentist once again for how hard he clenched his jaw sometimes. Katsuki looped Ryuu's leash around his arm then fished out his wallet. He stormed over to the bar, slamming the card down. The bartender picked it up, glanced at it, and then looked up at Katsuki. He literally froze under Katsuki's fierce, scarlet glare. "S-Sorry, G-G-G.Z." He stammered. His hands shook as he held out the card. Katsuki swiped it from him then shoved it back into his wallet, proceeding to put his wallet in his back pocket.
Katsuki wordlessly resumed his walk over to Eijirou, who ended his phone call, sliding into the seat beside him. "Hey, man!" Eijirou greeted him with a grin.
"Hey." Katsuki huffed out. Ryuu took a seat beside his stool. "I thought you were throwing a party for me or some shit."
"Nah, man. I told you that everyone is busy tonight." Eijirou reminded him. Katsuki shrugged his shoulders carelessly.
"Can I- Fuck..." Katsuki stopped himself. He hit his head on the bar in front of him, groaning softly.
"Can you what?" Eijirou tried to press him. Katsuki pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"Can I have your assurance that whatever I say to you remains confidential between us?" Katsuki asked. His scarlet eyes looked over at his red haired friend. Eijirou's expression softened.
"Of course, man. Let's go out to your car, yeah?" Eijirou offered. He rose to his feet. Katsuki followed after him with Ryuu by his side. Despite what some may think, Eijirou was a truly reliable friend. He'd kept so many of Katsuki's secrets, and Katsuki would probably trust this idiot with his life because of it.
Ryuu hopped into the backseat then Eijirou shut the door for him. Katsuki got into the driver's seat with Eijirou in the passenger's.
"Lay it on me." Eijirou stated with a caring grin.
"Okay. I don't know if it's my fucking heat that's talking, or if I've gone absolutely fucking insane, but Deku smelled really fucking weird today. I wanted to blast him to hell for it." Katsuki told him with a huff. Eijirou watched as the blonde's cheeks flushed a dark red. "Like, I thought I'd pass out or some shit." The omega continued. He ran a hand through his ash blonde hair.
"Katsuki, did you like the way Midoriya smelled?" Eijirou asked. It was apparently the wrong thing to say because a loud explosion suddenly burst from Katsuki's hand. Eijirou leapt forward the minute he seen the red glow, shielding the blonde. The sound of glass shattering echoed through their ears. The car's alarm started blaring. "Out. Now!" Eijirou ordered. The pair quickly got out of the car. Katsuki yanked open the back door then Ryuu bounded out. Eijirou grabbed Katsuki's hand, pulling him away from the smoking vehicle.
