It took a week for them to find Ryoko. And it wasn't even on purpose. It was at another game.

TOEI SENDAGAYA APARTMENT
Third time using this building for a game, Ryoko thought to himself.
Climbing the steps attached to the apartment building, Ryoko could already see a group gathered. He quickly snagged a phone from the table and stood behind a pair of girls.
'Facial recognition in progress...please wait a moment. There are currently ten participants. Please wait until the game commences.'
Ryoko quickly scanned the players; two probably university aged women, a dude with a jean vest, a older woman, two men dressed in suits, another guy in a white hoodie, a nervous guy, and a high-key sketchy dude in a hat.
A woman in athletic clothing had just walked up and was about to speak with the nervous gentleman when a buff man clad in a black shirt and army pants passed through. Ryoko's head tilted in slight recognition of the man. The same one he saved last week. The two made eye contact and bowed their heads slightly in acknowledgement. Two more guys came up. They looked clean, most likely new players.
'Registration has closed. There are a total of fourteen participants. The game will now commence.'
Ryoko pushed of the wall so he was carrying his full weight. His fingers running along the hilt of the dagger hidden in his pant pocket.
'Difficulty, Five of Spades. Game, "A Game of Tag". Rule, run away from the tagger. Clear condition, discover the safe zone hidden in one of the building rooms within the time limit. You clear the game when this objective is fulfilled. Time limit, 20 minutes.'
There's a catch. There's a catch in every game. Ryoko thought to himself.
'After 20 minutes has passed, the time bomb hidden in the build will explode. Two minutes until the game starts.'
That's definitely a catch. Ryoko turned away from the group and began to walked to the farthest staircase and climb up. He made it to the top floor and pushed the door that led to the roof. He sat on the corner of the building overseeing the doors below. A blond head suddenly appeared beneath his feet. He chose to keep quiet since tagger hasn't released. He didn't want to give up his spot so quickly.
'The game will now commence. The time limit is 20 minutes. Game start.'
It was only silent for a moment before a round of shots erupted. It sounded close but not close enough. The players in the halls adjacent to you were scattering, even then the head beneath him didn't move. Another round was heard as the three minute mark passed.
"Everyone!" A male voice shouted from levels below," The tagger is currently at the second level of the central area! The tagger has bad vision because of his mask! Let's inform each other of the tagger's location and search for the safe zone together!"
"It's a good idea, but no one will respond." The person below Ryoko mumbled. A smirk crossed Ryoko's face before speaking.
"How much you want to bet?"
