Ryoko stared at the discarded shovel with fury. He had just buried his brother. He couldn't leave him out in the open like that. It felt like he was burying a piece of himself as well. The playing card felt heavy in his back pocket like a barbell was attached. As the sun set, the blood had long since dried unlike his clothes and hair. Ryoko slowly made his way back to the Beach.

The Hatter was dead.
The Executives were having a vote for next in line when the main door slammed open. Some were startled like the militants, who raised their weapons to the doorway. There stood Ryoko, clothes still dripping water and clotting blood. He had his mind and eyes set on one person. Once he found them, he started their way, not even noticing the laid body on the table. Ryoko slammed his hand on the center of the table, leaving something there before leaving.
Mira, who was the closest to the center, picked the item up. Her eyes slightly widened whether it be in excitement or utter fear. She gasped slightly as she turned it towards the others. Intakes of air were heard throughout the room.
A bloody Nine of Hearts.
"Guys-" Heads turned to one of their members. "-his brother, Ren, was in his group."
Looks of horror and pity were shared. Ryoko just lost his brother because of a game.
Niragi looked at Chishiya, who still had his arms lifted due to the rifle still being pointed at him. They shared a look before they made their way out the room. Once they made it past the threshold, they darted in the direction of Ryoko's room. Almost slamming into each other, they tried to open his door. Surprisingly, the door didn't budge. There had to be something blocking the door because most doors at The Beach didn't have the locks on them.
"Hey Ryo? Can you open the door?" Chishiya looked at his other partner when he didn't receive a reply.
"Ryo, it's only us okay? It's only Bunny and Kitten. We are the only ones here." Niragi tried his best to not let his nervousness affect his voice.
They heard shuffling and what seemed like sniffles. A light scrap was audible before the door was pulled open softly.
Ryoko looked exhausted. Eyes and cheeks tinted red from constant rubbing. He was still in the clothes he came back in.
"Oh baby." Chishiya took the hands of the tallest and turned him around to pull him further back in the room. He made the older sit on the bed before running his hand through his hair as he cradled Ryoko's head to his chest. Slowly but surely, Ryoko wrapped his arms around his partner and held on tightly.
Niragi took this chance to start the water for a bath, making sure to use the black cherry scents that Ryoko loved. When he returned to the bedroom, he could see Chishiya holding a shaking Ryoko. He sat next to the two and started rubbing his back.
"It's okay to let it out Ryo. Please don't hold it in." Chishiya's voice was soft but firm.
Ryoko let out a shaky breath before replying, "If I don't hold it in, I'm going to commit murder."
The younger duo shared an alarmed look, not knowing what to say. They were not used to the homicidal side of him. Though Niragi wasn't opposed to the idea of homicide, he knew that right now was not the best time to be encouraging.
"Let's clean you up." The two helped their partner into the bathroom before stripping him from his clothes and setting him in the tub.
Ryoko's breath hitched slightly at the feeling of the warm water. Chishiya noticed this and shrugged off his jacket before climbing in behind Ryoko. He intertwined their fingers before hugging the taller snug into his chest. Ryoko was forced to rest his ear on Chishiya's neck pulse. He just listened. As he listened, his heart rate got slower and steadier.
Niragi was sitting on a stool next to the tub holding his cuddling lovers. He grabbed the shower faucet before gently running the water over Ryoko's dirty and matted hair. He then began to shampoo and detangle his hair. While Niragi was taking care of Ryoko's hair, Chishiya released his hands and grabbed the loofah and lathering Ryoko's body. Ryoko's body relaxed from the care he was given.
Once the two were finished nurturing Ryoko, they put him down to sleep. Ryoko had fell asleep to the feeling of being wrapped in warmth. Niragi and Chishiya slowly parted from the sleeping man and went their own ways.
A single thought crossed both of their minds.
'Murder looks pretty good, right about now'

It has been like 3 months since this book has seen me.
But it's senior year and I have work so scheduled updates aren't promised, but I'll try my best.
How are we feeling about this chapter?
Since there is like 1 or 2 chapters left, I am thinking about adding flashback chapters of Ryoko's childhood, should I?
