Ryoko finally got to hit feet along with the others. The horseman was slowly sitting up revealing a older woman. So horsewoman. She was backing up into the wall looking terrified, the collar around her neck on full display. Ryoko simply starred holding his wound when the collar exploded her head.

It wasn't until Usagi and Arisu had left the room, that Ryoko stepped up to the corpse. Chishiya watched his movements quietly. He carefully grabbed the hilt of the knife before tugging out of neck. He gently wiped the excess blood off with the now deceased woman's clothes.

He stood up straight before looking at Chishiya, who was already looking at him.

"If you want help with that, I can take you to the Beach."

"How the hell is a beach suppose to help with a gunshot wound, little mouse?" Chishiya rolled his eyes to that.

"Not the actual beach, dumbass. It's a place to stay with electricity. Ask anyone with this wristband and they can take you." He held up his wrist to show him.

Ryoko walked closer to Chishiya until they were a couple inches away.

"I'll keep that in mind. But this isn't my first time getting shot. I'll be fine on my own."

Chishiya's eyebrows furrowed in question, How long had he been in Borderland?

Chishiya nearly jumped at the sudden breath near his neck and ear.

"I'll see you around, little mouse."

Ryoko was halfway back to his apartment when he noticed he was being followed. He quickly cut the corner into a nearby alleyway. As soon as he got his body secure on the third floor fire escape, five dudes-some with guns, others without-came barreling down the same alleyway. They were met with a brick wall as a dead-end.

Ryoko waited until he could see everyone's face. It was the same man from those two games.

What could they want with me? he thought. He mentally shrugged before continuing his journey home.

He thought about Chishiya's offer while he was removing the bullet from his side. He dug until he was met with resistance pinching the bullet, he shifted his grip before pulling the bullet out.

He had run out of food the day before so it wouldn't hurt to go. Ryoko washed the blood off his hands before he began to wrap his waist. Shuffling out the bathroom, he grabbed the small bag on his desk and sat on his bed. He emptied the bag out.

Playing cards.

97 of them. Well, 98 now.

The cards were wrapped according to their number then suit. Most cards, he had doubles of even triples for a few. Ryoko started to pull one of each card, except the 10,9, and 7 of hearts. Those three he didn't have.

If his thought process was correct, these cards were the way out of Borderland. And he were to go to the 'Beach', they most likely had the same thought process. He wasn't about to risk it all and carry all of his cards.

After separating the cards that would go with him, he put the rest back in the bag. He grabbed a small tin can and placed the bag inside. He then began to wrap the box in duck tape. Once he felt as if it was sealed enough, he opened the top of the toilet tank and placed the box inside.

He finally laid down in his bed to sleep.

See you soon, little mouse.
