"Kuina! Slow down!"

Ryoko felt like his arm was being ripped out of its socket. Damn, she was strong. Kuina had him running somewhere to meet Chishiya, not that he minded. She was on a mission to get them together after the shorter male said Ryoko interested him. When was he ever interested in anything?

The two made it to the roof where the blond male was looking over the partying Beach members. Kuina pushed Ryoko in his direction and shut the door.

"Hey, little mouse." Chishiya jumped slightly, obviously hearing him coming but not expecting him to be so close.

"Hi, Akira." The groan said boy let out had Chishiya's cheeks flushed.

"I already told you to call me Ryoko! You know I prefer it." Ryoko's pout was adorable.

"And I prefer being called my name, yet you insist on calling me 'little mouse'. What's up with that?" The taller male smiled to himself.

"I like seeing the way it makes you flustered."

"If you wanted to fuck, just say that."

"Let's fuck then."

Chishiya fucking choked. He wasn't prepared for that answer.

"Okay."

Ryoko was in the basement with Niragi practicing their aim with different guns, when Aguni called them. Something about finding people spying on the Beach. Rolling their eyes, the pair set the guns down and started to head upstairs.

The shorter male had his arm around Niragi's shoulders lazily while rambling about movie logic. He hadn't noticed Niragi looking at him with a certain intensity.

"-so if they had magic that literally could kill someone. Why didn't they give themselves 20/20 vision? Like hones-"

"Why do you stay around me so much?" Niragi spoke so suddenly it almost made the poor guy trip.

"Huh?" Ryoko was beyond confused at the randomness of the question. Niragi repeated the question and starred at the man waiting for a response.

"What makes you think I shouldn't be around you?"

"Well obvious reasons really. Just the reputation I carry around like a fucking crown has made so many people wary of being near me. With good reason obviously."

Ryoko didn't know whether he felt like hitting or hugging the man in front of him. So he did both.

"If I'm being truthful, I actually don't know. I guess I had been alone so long I just attached myself to you. I can back off if that's what you want."

Niragi internally panicked. This conversation was not going the way he scripted in his head.

"That's not what I'm saying at all. I just thought you would've been done with me after we fucked, but you are still here and that confuses me."

"You aren't all that bad you know. I noticed how when asked you if you wanted to play baseball with some of the others, you flinched. The faded ones on the bridge of your nose, the ones you try to hide behind your eyebrow piercing, and the ones on your back.

You have scars, Niragi. Both mentally and physically, everyone has them at some point. Some just hide it better than others. It makes you human. You're fucked up. I'm fucked up. So we'll be fucked up together."

He felt the burn behind his eyes. He didn't think Ryoko noticed his scars that had long since faded, yet not entirely. You would be able to see them if you either looked specifically for them or if you were close enough.

He had noticed the burns on his back during their nights together. He had assumed it was from a game that involved fire. Now, he wasn't too sure about that theory.

"I don't believe people are not born good or evil; they're created by the people around them. You have a past that made you this way. You never had control in any situation so when you came here you took control before it could be taken from you. "

At this point, Ryoko didn't know if he was talking about Niragi or himself.
