Chapter 40!

Izumi's pov:

I'm going home today, Uroko-sama had came to get us to make sure i woudnt miss getting the portal home. For the past few days, i've been thinking about what could happen in the future due to All Might retiring and the possible uprise in villain attacks and new groups forming, both villain and hero.

when the portal appeared, we said goodbye to each other. i went back home.

i was at the beach, i checked my phone, everyone is at school right now. i started heading to UA and called shota, "hello problem child, are you on your way back?" he asks

i giggled, "hello shota, yes im on my way back but dont tell the class that im back, i wanna suprise them." i say

"*sigh* okay, i wont tell them but i want you to go to the infirmary, your grandmother wants to make sure you're okay" Shota says

"alright, i'll see you soon, love you" i say smiling.

"love you too problem child, bye" Shota says and hangs up.

i sent a text to Nezu telling him im back and to meet me at the infirmary.

i walked into the infirmary, after an hour and 30 minutes walk from the beach, and i was immediately hugged by Hina, i picked her up "i missed you baby" i say and kiss her forehead.

"i missed you more momma" hina says hiding her face in my neck.

i sat down on the bed with Hina on my lap, i sighed saying "i have a lot to explain and to talk about"

i was whacked on the head by grandmama, "damn right, where on earth were you?!" she asks.

i rubbed my head, "owie..." i pout. i sighed again saying "i was in another world. i was in Hokkaido prefecture, Oshiooshi, Shota said that the find my phone app said i was at Otaru."

"how did you get there momma?" Hina asks.

i nervously laughed saying "well, i think it would be better to explain all this when we're with everyone else because its a lot i have to explain."

Nezu cocked his head to the side asking "what sort of stuff do you have to expain?"

"i have to explain what happened the day i went missing, what the people of that world have, my birth mother and what i know of her now, what happened while i was there, what i now have because of wht happened the day i went missing and because of my birth mother" i say

Grandmama and nezu both nod understanding it, "yes, thats quite a bit to unpack, so it is better to explain to everyone at the same time." nezu says

Hina gets off me so grandmama can give me a check up. Grandmama lifts my arm up to check for injuries and noticed it was shiny in the sunlight. "dearie why are you shining? it looks like it's cracking too" she says.

i sighed, "this is one of the things i have to explain to you all, Its called 'Ena'. Ena is what people from that world have, it is what the first original humans had to live under the sea. It's compared to as being like fish scales. Ena out of the water is like normal skin except it will glitter and shimmer lightly in the sun. Those with Ena are extremely sensitive to sunlight when out of water. If they're out of water for a long period of time or it's really hot, they can faint and the Ena will slowly chip away like glass. Some can gain Ena, but seemingly only if they have people of the sea in their family lineage. Such as my birth mother." i explain.

"what do we do about it then?" Hina asks.

"i need to soak in salt water" i say smiling and i look at nezu asking "can i use my quirk?"
