chapter 36!

Izumi's pov:

Mirio and i got healed this morning by grandmama, we're at the hospital now. we were going to talk with shota first, "so what is it you two needed to talk to me about?" he asks

i take the blue bullet out my pocket, "we can get Mirio's quirk back, we just need to do some tests on this" i say.

shota sighs and puts his hand out, "i'll give it to mom so she can do some tests, we cant guarentee that you'll get your quirk back soon but depending on the tests you may beable to get it back" shota says to Mirio who nods, happy that he could get it back at sometime.

we go into Eri's hospital room to see her sitting up on the bed, "Eri!" i say smiling.

Mirio stand sinfront of Eri and asks "is there a fruit you like? can i try to guess? its peaches right? because you're like a peach!"

Eri shook her head saying "apples"

Mirio laughed nervously saying "Thats what I thought!"

we sit down in the chairs next to her bed. "This whole time, even when i had a fever, i was thinking...  about when you rescued me, i didnt know your name, i only knew Lemillion so i wanted to know your name" Eri says

i smiled, "i Izumi Aizawa-Yamada, my hero name is Deku, since Deku is shorter, it will be eaiser to remember but you can call me Izumi, Deku or Aiya as a mix of my family name" i say

"Hero name?" eri asks with a head tilt

"its like a nickname" i say smiling

"Deku." Eri repeats

i nodded, "that's right!"

Eri looks between both of us, "Lemillion. Deku. and that man wearing glasses, all of you... were badly injured because of me" she says.

Eri mustn't have been told of Sir Nighteye, From what Shota told us, she had been blaming herself for everything and holding onto the guilt.

Eri continued with tears in her eyes "because of me, you all suffered... i'm sorry". Eri will find out someday, but right now, its too cruel to tell her. "it was my fault... you lost your quirk because of me, Lemillion..."

Mirio put his hand on her head saying "Eri, No one thought they were suffering. This is what we all think: 'im glad Eri is okay!' There is no point in apologizing to someone who doesnt exist, dont worry about it. Everyone fought because they wanted to see your smile!" he then sat back down.

Eri started to try make herself smile, she even tried it with her hands but she couldnt, "I'm sorry... how do you smile again...?" she asks sadly

mine and Mirio's hearts break, what could make Eri happy?

i look at Shota and asks "could we take Eri to the UA festival?"

Shota thinks before saying "we'd have to see what the doctors think but i dont think it would be a problem"

Mirio looked at Eri saying "Eri, this is a great idea! Oh! there might be candy apples!"

"whats a candy apple?" Eri asks

"its a type of candy where they make apples -- of all things -- even sweeter!" Mirio says happily

"Even sweeter" Eri mumbles

i look at Eri asking "Eri, what do you think?"

"I... thought... i thought about how i wanted to know more about everyone" eri says holding her fists to her chest

Mirio smiles brighter saying "i'll tell you more than you want you know! when you come visit UA before the festival i'll stay with you and you'll know everything about UA before our date!"
