chapter 24!

Izumi's pov:

we were woken up at 5 in the morning by Shota, i was in my room with shosho, rou and kacchan. "huh? when did i get in here?" i ask tiredly.

"we brought you here, we woke you up so you could turn back and you fell asleep straight after it" rou says and kisses the top of my head.

i nod tiredly and get out of the bed. we change into our school gym clothes and go out for breakfast.

after breakfast, we were allowed to do what we wanted for an hour, during that hour class 1-B showed up. we were all gathered up and pixie-bob started to talk, "everyone, you all will be doing quirk training to make your quirks stronger or try out new things, Izumi you'll be doing training with tiger" she said. everyone went off into the forest to use their quirks and i went with tiger.

"we will do some sparing, i'll use my quirk and you can do whatever you can do with the neko thing" tiger says and we get into fighting positions, tiger has enhanced strength and his quirk is pliabody- he can stretch, flatten, and bend his body in ways that would normally be impossible. Tiger makes the first move by stretching his arms towards me and trying to wrap them around me. i give myself a cheetah's speed and run behind him, kicking his back and making him stumble. he regained his balance and turned around only for him to see a large night fury dragon head-butt him in the stomach and make him lose his breath. i then kick his back again making him fall onto the ground and sit on top of him to stop him from getting up. everyone that was around us was looking at me shocked. Tiger tapped out and i got off him and turned human.

"you're a fast kitten~!" pixie-bob praised.

i giggled and doged tiger's attack, oh no warning? okay! i spin kick him in the face and move back. pixie-bob was trying to distract me. i turned back into a night fury dragon and let out a what i though was a weak plasma blast at tiger, making him fall back hitting his head on the ground knocking him out, i turn back an run over. shota, vlad king and the other pussycats run over, "i thought that was a weak plasma blast, im sorry" i say and pixie-bob pats my back.

"its okay, kitten" pixie-bob says. tiger was taken inside and we waited for him to wake up. i stayed with him, shota and ragdoll stayed too. i was cuddled into shota, i felt so bad for knocking him out, it wasnt suppose to happen.

"when were you able to do that plasma blast thing?" shota asks.

"when i was training with Mirio, i was showing him the dragons i could turn into and he suggested trying to do something, and i did a plasma blast, im still learning what else i can do as a dragon but mainly the plasma blast, i thought the one i sent to tiger was a weak one but it was strong enough to knock him out and possibly give him a concussion, do you think he'll hate me?" i ask shota.

shota and ragdoll shake their heads, "he wont hate you kitten, he actually thinks you're really cool since you're a neko" ragdoll says.

kota came in saying "yeah! you're so cool!", i giggled and opened by arms and he ran over and cuddled with me.

tiger woke up, "what happened?" he asked and tried to sit up but layed back down due to a headache.

"i used a plasma blast on you and i thought it was a weak one, it knocked you out an you might have a concussion, im sorry" i say sadly.

tiger took some pain meds and sat up saying "its okay kitten, but i'll help you work on your plasma blasts and see if you can do other things as a dragon". i nod smiling a little.

we checked him for a concussion and he had a small one. he refused to rest and came outside and helped me with my dragon abilities. we found out the three types of furies i can turn into, they are: Night Furies, Light furies and Night Lights (a mix of night and light furies). These are what the dragons can do:
Night Furies:
Night Fury can shoot bursts of purple-colored flames, composed of ionized oxyacetylene. Plasma blasts explode directly upon impact, sometimes exploding in midair at higher altitudes because of the cut off oxygen supply. The Night Fury can fire at different levels of power: For example, it can fire concussive blasts that can knock people off their feet, while at the same time being able to destroy anything in its path with more powerful blasts. These blasts can be fired with pinpoint accuracy. The Night Fury's plasma blast can sometimes be reflected off surfaces such as rock walls. They can use this as a tactic to take out fast-moving objects in tight, narrow spaces. The Night Fury can breathe fire, it can be increadibly hot.
The Night Fury's jet black color and dark scales make it nearly impossible to spot in the night sky. The only warnings that it gives is the sound of the dive-bombing with a loaded blast, right before it attacks with a powerful plasma blast, as well as the stars disappearing behind it. The only way to spot a Night Fury flying at night is when it passes its flame-engulfed blast
Night Furies are capable of cloaking. This allows them to blend into their surroundings. They do this by summoning lightning from the sky to turn their scales reflective and become temporarily invisible. While the claws of Night Furies appear to simply be black extrusions of keratin, in truth they can flex on command and act as rudimentary fingers. Night Furies have an uncannily great sense of hearing and they can hear long distances, they have a good sense of smell and they also have large eyes that give them excellent night vision as they are adapted to fly at night. They cannot see well in complete darkness, thus they will use echolocation, such as in a cave, or when their vision is restricted. Night Furies have high jaw strength. They can also retract their teeth, to avoid chipping and breaking when not in use. Night Furies have hidden spines on their backs, they can be extended at will. Those spines are flat, leathery fins, placed in 'V' shape and extending from their backs to the end of their tails. They gave them more maneuverability and control in flight.
Light Furies:
Light Furies are capable of firing explosive plasma blasts that are identical to the ones produced by Night Furies. Due to their cloaking ability, Light Furies are very stealthy dragons. The pale white bodies of Light Furies allow them to easily blend in with clouds and the sky in a similar way that Night Furies blend in with the night sky. Light Furies possess the ability to seemingly disappear by flying through the blasts of their plasma fire. This is, in fact, a form of cloaking that occurs when they heat up the trace silicates in their skin, this causes their scales to have mirror-like qualities, allowing them to temporarily blend in with their surroundings using reflection of the light. Light Furies share the same speed and agility with that of the Night Furies and they can carry heavy objects. Light Furies are shown to possess a great amount of stamina, for they can travel long distances without showing any signs of exhaustion. They are also very durable, for they can get up after crash-landing without any scratches or wounds.
Night Light furies:
Night Lights are capable of firing explosive plasma blasts very similar to that of their parents' species. Night Lights and Light Furies share a similar amount of control in the timing of the plasma blasts' explosion. Night Lights possess the ability of "cloaking". Cloaking occurs when their skin heats up, which causes their scales to have mirror-like qualities, allowing them to temporarily blend in with their surroundings. Night Lights are very fast dragons. Night Lights are strong enough to carry or pin down others.

i could give myself some features of the dragons, like i could just take their wings to fly around, take their claws, do the plasma blasts but i have to work on them and build resistance to them, take their scales on put them on my skin (they look like my normal skin), take their senses, ect.

after we did all of that, we were all told that we had to make our own dinner. we all decided on curry, we went into groups to get everything done faster. i helped lighting the BQQs for the curry with shosho. iida was trying to figure out how to work the potato peeler, he got it after a while. everyone was having fun making the curry.

when it was finished, we all sat down at the table and started to eat. i noticed that Kota wasnt at the table so i looked around and saw him go into the forest, i got up and grabbed another bowl of curry for kota. i followed him to where he was going, we ended up at a cave. is this his hide out? cute. i saw him sitting down near the edge so i walked over saying "kota? can you move away from the edge please? i dont want you to get hurt". he moved back a little and i sat down next to him, i handed him the curry asking "is this your hide out to get away from the wild wild pussycats?"

kota nods, "i like to come up here to be alone" he says quietly.

"do you want me to leave you alone?" i ask him.

kota shakes his head, "you can stay" he says. i nod smilng and he asks "how did your parents react to you being quirkless?"

"well, shota and zashi didnt care that i was quirkless, i was going to become a hero either way, quirk or no quirk. my birth parents however, i dont really know how they would react. they abandoned me at the orphanage when i was two years old so i dont remember them. but i dont care about that, i have two amazing fathers and a brother, plus two boyfriends, a girlfriend and a daughter, and i love them with all my heart" i say smiling.

he looks up at me, "you're adopted?" he asks.

i smile, "yeah, my brother and i became friends at the orphanage whne i arrived there, we've been friends ever since. but when i had arrived there, i wouldnt talk, i knew how to i just didnt want to, so i learned sign language and my brother did too. i only ever showed emotion to him and no one else. when i got adopted by shota and zashi, they were fine i didnt call them dad and papa like hitoshi, it took me a few years to start talking to people too" i say.

Kota looked down at his curry, "my parents were the waterhose duo, they died when i was 3 years old, they left me alone" he says.

i wrap my arm around him since i finished my curry, "kota, they didnt leave you alone, they are watching over you and you still have family with you, you have mandalay and she's your cousin. your parents died protecting people, making sure they were safe from the villains. i understand why you hate villains but why do you hate heroes?" i ask softly.

"they just do it for the fame and money" he says

i sigh, "not all of them, most heroes dont do it for money and fame, only a very small fraction of them do. like shota, or Mr aizawa as my classmates call him, he's the underground pro hero: erasurehead. he's an underground hero because he doesnt like the attention from the media and he isnt very well known, there are lots of heroes like him that only want to save people, to make sure they dont feel scared to go about their day" i explain to him. Kota nods and leans into me, "do you still hate heroes?" i ask him.

"no, only the ones that are fake. when you become a hero, i'll be your number one fan" he says quietly with a smile.

i giggle, "you'll have a hard time fighting against my soulmates for that position, but i'll always know that you will be my number one fan" i say, Kota nods and we look over the forest.

when i look down to see if he's okay, i see that kota fell asleep. i giggle quietly and pick him up, along with the bowls and take him down to where everyone else is. "where did you two go?" rou asks coming over to me as i come into veiw.

"i went to give Kota some curry, we talked and he fell asleep" i say quietly.

mandalay comes over, "i'll go put him in bed" she says and takes him from me. i nod and go over to shosho and kacchan with rou. i talked with them before we were told to go to bed by shota.
