chapter 27!

Izumi's pov: (3 months later)

shota had told us all to go change into our hero costumes for training and to meet him at one of the training areas. when the last few people came out, shota said "you're all going to be making your supermoves and training for the provisional licensing exams that are in a month. midnight, ectoplasm and cementoss will be helping out and all might will be watching you lot too". everyone got really excited about the supermoves and we started training.

i needed to build up a resistance to the plasma blasts and producing fire for when i cant turn into a dragon so i was doing that, cementoss made some walls for me to use the plasma blasts on but they got repelled off it so that wasnt an option. i was doing pretty well at controlling that blasts too, making them strong or weak, making them into beams and not blasts. i had did some research on the fury dragons but there isnt much on them about what they can do, i found an article about one of them making a plasma blast and flying through it and the dragon had disappeared, it had confused everyone and had them thinking that the dragon had killed itself but that didnt happen, it was a light fury dragon. im not sure if what im thinking will be correct but i want to try something, i turn into a light fury and fly up so i dont hurt anyone. everyone started to watch me to see what i was doing since they didnt know what furies could do. i send out a plasma blast and fly through it, i heard everyone gasp and started talking, "where did she go?" ochako asked worried. i flew down to the ground and heard everyone sigh out of relief.

i look up at them, "did i disappear?" i ask them.

"yes problem child, you did. how did you know you could do that?" Shota asks. 

i laugh nervously, "Aha well, i found an article of someone seeing a light fury fly through its plasma blasts and disappearing, people thought it had died since the blasts can destroy anthing but i had a feeling it wasnt that so i wanted to try it and see what happens. Light Furies possess the ability to seemingly disappear by flying through the blasts of their plasma fire. its a form of cloaking that occurs when they heat up the trace silicates in their skin, this causes their scales to have mirror-like qualities, allowing them to temporarily blend in with their surroundings using reflection of the light. i just need to find out how night furies cloak themselves." i explain to him. everyone gets back to what they were doing and i go over to shota, "i think that i would have to find out how a night fury cloaks on a night time, could i do it tonight?" i ask him.

shota nods, "yeah, but i'll have to supervise you" he says, i nod and go back to where i was training. i tried the same thing with night lights, i turned into a white night light with black tips. i flew up and let out a plasma blast, i flew through it and and shota said that i disappeared.

"im going to see if i can do that with a maily black night light with white tips" i say, shota nods and i turn into a black night light with white tips, i fire a plasma blast and fly through it, everything faded into darkness...

shota's pov:

izumi turned into a black night light with white tips, she fired a plasma blast and flew through it. izumi didnt turn invisible, she was falling to the ground in her human form. i sent out my capture weapon and caught her, "all might watch the class, i'll take izumi to recovery girl" i say and leave the training room.

i walk into the infirmary and lay zumi down on the bed, "what happened?" mom (recovery girl) asks me while she comes over.

"she was trying some cloaking things for the night light fury dragons, she turned into a black night light with white tips and went through a plasma blast, it didnt cloak her like it did with the white night light with black tips" i explain to her.

mom nods while she does some tests, "alright, she should be alright but we'll have to see when she wakes up, you have a class to teach so go back and i'll call you when she wakes up" she says, i nod and go back to the training room.

izumi's pov:

i groan placing my hand on my head, i hurt badly. i open my eyes and sit up, i look around the room and see grandmama, "grandmama, how long was i out?" i ask

grandmama comes over to me, "you've been out since this morning, school ended 2 hours ago" she says and gives me some pain meds and a glass of water. i take the meds and grandmama does some tests to make sure im okay to go back to the dorms. "alright dearie, you good to go back to the dorms but you are not trying the cloaking thing tonight, shota told me about what you wanted to do" grandmama says sternly.

i nod, "okay grandmama" i say laughing a little. we say goodbye and i get back to the dorms.

as soon as i enter the dorms, hina runs over to me and hugs my legs, "momma! you're okay!" she says happily.

i pat her head and rou picks her up, giving me a kiss after. "im happy you're okay baby" he says.

i smile, "thanks rou, i have no injuries but im in a lot of pain, are the other two in the dorm?" i ask

rou nods, "yeah, they're up there, go rest and i'll bring up some food" he says and puts hina down. i smile and kiss his cheek, hina and i go up to our dorm.

we walk in, shosho and kacchan come over and hug me. "are you okay?" kacchan asks me.

i nod, "yeah, just in pain, im tired and hungry, rou is bringing up some food for us" i say, i change into some shorts and a sports bra.

i lay down in bed and hina comes to cuddle with me, "i'll make you feel better momma" she says and kisses my nose.

i smile softly, "thank you baby" i say, we cuddle until rou comes in with miso soup for all of us. he gives me my bowl then gives the others their bowls, "thank you rou" i say smiling and start eating the soup.

rou kisses my forehead, "no problem baby pebble" he says, i blush from the nickname, that was a new one. we all eat the soup happily and they start to talk about their supermoves, they were all really cool.

"are you able to make supermoves even though you dont have a quirk?" shosho asks.

i nod, "yeah, i guess so, but im not telling you yet, i need to actually see what i can do as a dragon first and build up resistance to the plasma blasts and fire for when i use them without transforming into a dragon" i say, they nod and we talk about what i could possibly do as a dragon, they had some cool ideas.

after dinner, we just relaxed and watched movies. hina cuddled with me in attemp to make me feel better, she's so sweet. hina ended up sleeping in our bed for the night.
