chapter 5!

izumi's pov:

i wake up to someone shaking me lightly, I tiredly open my eyes, kacchan was shaking me, "its time to wake up, breakfast will be ready when you come down" he says as he grabs his lanyard off the key holder. I sit up and rub my eyes, "good sleep?" shosho asks me, coming out the bathroom. I nod smiling, while I grabbing my shower things and uniform, rou says "the alarm went off an hour ago but you didn't wake up, so we decided to let you sleep a little more while we all showered and got dressed", I tilt my head a little, "i usually wake up to alarms, odd. thanks anyways, I'm going to shower now, I'll be down soon, we still have like an hour and thirty minutes before school starts right?" I ask in sign. he smiles saying "yeah, you have time to get sorted, don't worry. we'll be down stairs helping with breakfast", I nod and go into the bathroom. once I showered, I put my uniform on, brushed my hair and teeth. I packed my things into my bag, grabbed my lanyard and went down stairs.

once I get down there, I don't see shota anywhere. "where's shota?" I sign to toshi, since he was coming over to me. "he's still in his dorm room" he replies to me, I nod smiling and we head to the kitchen. I could smell pancakes and cinnamon. kacchan put different pancakes on separate plates, shosho hands me a plate of cinnamon roll pancakes, my eyes light up and mouth 'thank you' since I couldn't use my hands, "no problem izu" shosho says smiling, he grabs his plate and we walk to the table and eat once the other two join. shota comes into the common area where we all are, "good to see your all awake. kitten, nezu has two people who want to speak to you in his office, once you start heading off, just go straight to his office" he says and drinks his coffee he got from toshi, I turn to him confused, "okay, but do you know why and who they are, shota?" I sign , he shakes his head saying "no, he wouldn't tell me. he kept saying it was private between him, the two other people and you" I just nod and turn back to my food. once I finished eating, rou took my plate to wash even though I told him I'd do it. the boys and I walked to school and parted ways once we had to. 

I knocked on nezu's door and walked in after hearing 'come in' from nezu. "hello nezu, all might and detective, you wanted to speak to me?" I sign to them. nezu guesters me to sit on the couch across from them. all might seemed shocked that I knew it was him, he was in his skinny form. "young aizawa-yamada, how did you know it was me?" all might asks, guess he knows sign language. "how many people is there in Japan who are 7'2 and have blonde hair with two long stands? add a lot of muscle to you and tidy your hair and make the two long bits stand up, boom you have all might, I also may or may not have seen you deform in a back ally 2 years ago..." I sign to him, the detective whacks him upside the head saying "i thought I told you to be careful!", all might sighs and drags his hand down his face saying "you can't tell people about that", I nod and sign "yeah I already know, if people found out, the faith people put in heroes will plumit rapidly, anyways why was I needed?", the detective goes first, "i want you to do a test" he says, I smile nodding "okay, I'm fine with that" I sign to him, he was surprised I agreed so quickly. all might said he would tell me his after I've done the test.

while I was doing the test, I realised this tests was what they gave to people who wanted to become detectives. the test was easy. I knocked on the table since they were talking and signed once they looked at me "im done with the test, it was easy but why did you give me a test that detectives take?", he laughed nervously, saying "i want you to become a detective, you'd be a great help at the police station with your analytical skills, would you like to work with me? you can still become a hero too" I smile brightly and nod, my tail was moving quickly showing how happy I was. "okay, come down to the station at five, here's my number and I'll see you then" naomasa says smiling, he hands me a card and leaves after he says goodbye.

"all might, what did you want to talk to me about?" I sign, facing him. he becomes really nervous, "i need help finding a successor for my quirk..." he says, almost embarressed by it. "okay, I'll help you. What's your quirk?" I sign then get my laptop out so I can get the quirk down and do analysis on it.
