chapter 18!

izumi's pov:

yesterday was spent by kacchan, hina, shosho, rou and i all going out and having fun before i leave for my mission today. i got my licence and appartment keys from nezu yesterday too. im packing the last of my things with hina helping me. yesterday when we got back from our day out, i had some gadget designs i designed while we were out and made them:

A drive disguised as lipstick - it can be used to hack into computers and security systems.

compact mirror tracker: Allows me to track targets and send info to whoever needed. lazer cutter: A handheld device that can cut through glass and any other material.

communication earrings: these earrings hide two-way communication technology, which i can use to stay in touch with whoever needed. i made a few pairs so i could give them to Nene and Kou, possibibly hanako-kun if he can?

Wrist-bound Grappling Hook: A wrist-bound device that shoots a grappling hook, allowing me to reach high places

"thank you for helping me hun" i say and kiss her head, i wasnt in a rush to get there since it was a sunday.

"you're welcome mommy! when will you be back?" she asks me.

"im not sure baby, but i'll call whenever i can" i say, and look at the others, "if i dont answer calls for a while, dont worry about it, i'll be safe and there is people there who i trust. i've already told you but i could be gone for a few weeks" i say smiling. they nod and come over to me. they all give me a kiss and shosho picks up hina so she can give me one. "i love you all so much" i say and give them a kiss on their noses.

when i got on the train, everyone was texting me telling me to be safe and update them on how im doing when i can, they all want a tour of the place im staying at too. it takes me a few hours to get there and my ears and tail were hidden, since the town is a quirkless town and doesnt have nekos.

once i got to my appartment i got a call from rou, they wanted to know if im there, it took 2 hours to get here. i recorded the appartment and sent it on the class groupchat. i unpacked and sorted everything out.

i decided to go to a cafe that i seen on the way here, it was a cat cafe. i took my laptop with me since nezu wanted me to hack into UA's system so he can upgrade it to try keep me out, this will be fun. i walked into the cafe and sat in a booth at the back. i set up my laptop and started hacking into UA's system.

"hello miss! what can i get you?" a woman, who showed up suddenly, asked.

i jumped, "oh hi! um can i just have a green tea and a slice chocolate cake, please?" i ask smiling

she nods at me smiling, "sure, i'll bring it over soon and sorry for scaring you" she appologizes

"its okay, im usually more aware of my surroundings but this task im doing is more fun than i though" i say giggling.

she giggles saying "well have fun and i'll bring your food and drink over soon" i nod and she leaves.

i continue with what im doing. im talking to nezu through the communication earrings, they work brilliantly and he doesnt even know about them. nezu was having just as much fun as i was, he was going his signiture laugh. i had an earphone in one ear so people wouldnt think im talking to myself since im talking to someone through a earring. the woman brought my food and drink over and leaves. nene and Kou had been updating me on things happening in the school. it was just small things like learning new rumors or something random.

when i finished my tea and cake nezu decided that we could continue the hacking tomorrow when im free. i packed my things away and payed for the cake and tea. i went back to my appartment and slept.
