chapter 11!

izumi's pov: (day of the sports festival)

i wake up feeling someone petting me, i tiredly open my eyes and saw that i was laying on shosho's chest. "morning shosho..." i say quietly, "morning snuggle bug, its the sports festival today so you have to wear your gym clothes" he says and sits up, taking me up with him. i nod and i get my gym clothes from my closet since we had to bring them here yesterday. after i came out the bathroom, with my gym clothes on, kacchan asked "are you using your support items?", i smirked nodding and said "non of you are allowed to go easy on me", they all nod and we go down for breakfast

i ate my breakfast pretty quick, so i was waiting for the other three to finish eating. dark shadow came to entertain me. dark shadow was laying her head on my shoulder and i started petting her. she suddenly scooped me up causing me to squeak. "dark shadow! girl, you scared me, give me warning next time okay?" i say laughing, she nods and people look at me confused except for tokoyami, since he knew her gender. "dark shadow is a girl?" shota asked suprised. tokoyami and i nod.

once we got to school, we all went to our classroom and waiting until we had to go to the waiting room. kacchan was the class representitive since she got first place in the entrance exams.

once everyone was ready in the waiting room, zashi started calling out classes. "ALRIGHT! CLASS 1-A, THE CLASS THAT SURVIVED A VILLAIN ATTACK!" zashi shouts, i heard shota grumble at mic being so loud, he's using his quirk and the microphone. LOUD! the croud cheers violently as we go down to where we're suposed to stand. i was next to kacchan, "i thought they werent suposed to be biased?" i say quietly as he introduced more classes with the croud cheering less and less. midnight comes up to the stage and people start questioning whether its a good idea for the r-rated hero to be running a teenage event. some people were drooling over her though. "hello everyone! im going to running this event this year! we'll be spinning the wheel for the events but first will class 1-A's representitive bakugo katsumi please come up" midnight annouces. kacchan goes up while people start murmering about what she would say. she takes the mic from midnight and stands infront of everyone, "you're all just stepping stones for my victory, im going to become number 1!" she says then hands the mic back to midnight then comes back to stand next to me. i jab my hand into her side saying "you dumbo! you're supose to encourage everyone!", she holds her side saying "okay! okay! sorry!". i smile and turn back to midnight, she was holding back laughter. i looked up to the commentary box to see zashi and shota laughing at what i did, there mics were turned off. we spun the wheel and it landed on 'baton race with a twist', midnight smirked saying "the first game will be 'batton race with a twist', there will be 9 groups of 5 people. you will all go to where you have to stand and the first person takes off towards the next person in your group. there will be obsticles that you will be facing. the last group to finish will be eliminated and the 8 other groups will move on to the next game, you all have 15 minutes to make your teams", everyone nods and starts to make their teams.

once the teams were made we were told where to stand, i was going to get the baton last since i could turn into a cheetah and run pretty fast. i could hear everyone fighting the firt obsticle, robots maybe? the first person going was tokoyami, then toshi, uraraka, tsuyu then me. it took about 12 minutes before tsuyu got to me, zashi hadnt said if anyone's passed yet so they must all be doing the other obsticles first. i turned into a cheetah and she put the baton in my mouth. i started running "it looks like team izumi is going to be the first to win" zashi says through the mic, he sounds proud. i ran it pretty fast since it was 100 meters, i ran at about 60 mph. "team izumi comes in first place!" zashi shouts through the mic, we walk through the tunnel and people start cheering. we wait for the other teams to finish.
