Mrs Potter-Malfoy {ON HOLD}

Okay so

I'm sure everyone in the Harry Potter fandom has heard of the news surrounding Tom Felton JK Rowling on Twitter. I don't really know how to say this, and I don't really know if I'm being dramatic or not. But since everything happened I found myself losing respect for him and at the same time my love for him slipped too. I'm not saying I love Draco any less - as he is a character - but I am unable to think about Draco without being reminded of everything horrible that happened.

I have always had trouble focusing and getting inspiration for this series. While I am thrilled with the support I would like to ask you to be patient with me. Grandes my updates were never very fast any way but I felt like I have to give you guys an explanation.

I am not discontinuing this series. I am not abandoning it. I still love these characters dearly but I think I need some time to step back and collect myself and my thoughts for this book.

Also I would like to make it clear that if I do update it does not mean that I am ready to start updating like normal. Just that I may have had a sudden burst of inspiration and felt the need to write a chapter. You may also see that I update other books from different fandoms that I am a part of.

Taking a breather from this series is purely because I don't feel comfortable writing about and idolising someone who did something wrong and has yet to apologise. (Again I would like to make clear that I understand Draco and Tom are two separate people, but the connection still remains)

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community (while I myself am not trans) I do fully support my brothers/sisters/siblings no matter who they are or who they want to be. I felt like I needed to show my support for them and not romanticise a character who's actor has made them feel how he has.

I wanted to thoroughly thank you all for all the support and love you have shown me. You have no idea how warm it makes me feel inside when I get a message, comment or a vote. It boosts my confidence so much, which has always been a huge challenge for me.

I love you all dearly.
