Once Lily and Sophia set off in the direction of Kirsty, where ever she may be Bella knew she had to work quickly. She sprinted her way down to the potions classrooms. Halfway there, however, she was stopped by a 7th year head girl.
"Where do you think you're going?" She sneered. Her hair was bone straight and silver. But it was the eyes that shocked Bella. They were stark black. Not a pupil insight. "I asked you a question!" Despite Bella not being very short herself this girl still towered over her.
"I was... I was ummmm warming up!" Bella our on her most innocent smile. "You know, because it's so cold."
The girl leaned down so she's inches from Bella's face and at eye level. "And do you know why it's so cold, Princess?" Bella flinched at the name. "Because of you. We all know who you are. The princess of the Death Eaters. You ran away so they are freezing us all slowly to punish you!"
"That's not true." As Bella was speaking she slipped her hand into the inside pocket of her robes and pulled out her wand. "Stupefy." The girl stiffened and fell to the floor.
Bella carried on towards the classrooms, not so much running but more power walking like a Karen on a Saturday Morning. Then she began pulling books off the shelves, scanning the contents pages and throwing them to the floor. The pile began to build. "No, no, no, NO! WHY ARE THERE NO LOVE POTIONS IN THIS DAMMED CLASSROOM!"
There was a tut from behind her. Oh god not this bitch again. "Now why of why would a married woman need a love potion?" The voice made her stop cold. A smile growing on her face. "I do hope it's not because she's bored of me..." Bella whipped around and ran as fast as she could into his arms. James picked her up and spun her around.
"What are you doing here?" She squealed when he put her down. She kissed him before he could answer.
"Got a couple days off from uni." He kissed her cheek and squeezed her again, her feet slightly lifting from the ground.
"But how? How did you find me?"
"McGonagall let me floo in. I asked her where I could find you she said to check the common rooms. But then I saw the girl outside and heard your shouting." He chuckled. "Now about this love potion." He cocked an eyebrow. "I hope it's not for you. We both know you literally can't live without me. You made a vow." He winked. God he's so hot... FOCUS!
"No, no it's for Arron. Or rather the antidote I'm trying to find is." She began walking back to the bookshelf and pulling books off. "Wanna help?"
He didn't even answer he just started pulling books off the shelf but instead of throwing them on the floor like his hotheaded wife, he placed them on the workbench behind him. It only took them a few more minutes before Bella began to scream.
"Yes! I found it! Get the ingredients!" They ran frantically around the room collecting things they needed.
"You know I barely passed potions." James said as they put the last ingredients on the workbench.
"I know, but you can read. Just tell me what I need to know."
They worked like that for another couple of minutes before the antidote was finished.
"How do we even know this is the right one?" Bella asked, looking at the tiny vial inner hand. James put his fingers underneath her chin and turned her head to look at him.
"Faith, I have faith in you." He lightly kissed her head. "Plus there's a lipstick mark on the page. This was definitely he book she used." He lightly chuckled and she hit his bicep. "Now go, I'll clean up here. Don't forget I'm taking you out to dinner tonight!"
"Since when?"
"Since right now! Go!"
She nodded and sprinted for the door. "I love you." James called behind her.
"I love you too."
She stepped out of the room and made her way down the hall a little only to be stopped by a very not-stunned head girl.
"Please! I need to get this to my friend otherwise she looses everything she loves." Bella looked straight into the black pools in front of her. "I know what it's like to watch the man you love with someone else. Don't make her go through that! Please I need to go."
To her surprise the girl stepped out of her way. "I saw your friends going towards the Slytherin dorms. Only like 2 minutes ago."
"Thank you..."
"Eve."
"Thank you Eve."
"I know what that's like too." Her voice was soft now. Like she was hurting.
"Come and find me later, I might be able to help you." Bella smiles before taking off in the direction of the dorms. "Pure blood."
"No hesitation, you are in a rush." The painting remarked before swinging out of the way.
Bella only hoped she wasn't too late.
I had this whole chapter written but then it got deleted. I had 1000 words and now it's only 800 but I can't figure out what I'm missing. God I'm a disaster.
