I hope you're happy

"Congratulations."

"I'm so happy for you."

"Have an amazing life together. "

"I wish you all the best."

Comments such as these floated over the happy couple all night. Surprisingly there were no visits or threats that day, or night.

As the party went on people got drunker and happier, including the few underage children there were, most were only a year or two away from 18, but there were a few who were not allowed anywhere near the alcohol, most of them with the last name Swan. Whether it was the word of their parents or their overly protective brother standing at the beverage table, the young Swan siblings stayed away from the alcohol.

Bella, however, didn't. Nor did James, Lily, Starla, all the friends, all the parents, and even Arron himself had a glass or three.

Currently he was dancing with his girlfriend, next to his best friends all in a group. One friend, the lady of the evening, wasn't dancing however. She was just sitting peacefully watching. Her peace was broken by two people coming over to her.

"I hope you're happy." The woman said, not in a nice way. Her mother's parents were never very happy about the whole wizard thing. They even shunned Alice for a while

"I am Nana." Bella replied, not looking away from her friends.

"You're too young to marry, your mother would have told you that."

"My mother loved James Papa."

"It is only going to end in ruin, I said that to your mother the day she married that man." This time Bella not only turned to look at them but stood up in the process.

"That man is my father, and he has been much better at being my family than you have." She said. "You abandoned us when mum died and you're only here because you thought I was doing something wrong."

"You are doing something wrong, promising to kill yourself if your husband dies seems a bit extreme, don't you think?"

"It is the only way to keep him alive. Nana, Papa, I'm glad you came but you don't know what you are talking about. I love James and he loves me, no amount of your meddling is going to get in the way of that." Bella took a deep breath and composed herself enough to not shout. "So if you are going to continue to blame my father for my mothers death and tell me I made a mistake please leave."

"It's fine," he grandfather started, "We didn't want to be around these freaks anyway, we knew who your mother married, and we prayed to god that you didn't turn out like him, we prayed you wouldn't turn out tainted."

Short chapter to make up for not updating in a while, comment below if you guys would be interested in me writing a book with a little bit of information all the characters I have made up or changed from the series, this doesn't include the parents or the next gen you never really see in this book, but the main characters, the friends, and the parents that weren't in the original, such as Lucy or Kirsty's parents.
